BYU is going
to try to end their four game bowl losing streak in the 2006
Las Vegas Bowl. The Cougars are ranked 19th in the
nation and have won 10 of their 12 games this season. John
Beck is leading the team on offense as he was named the Mountain
West's offensive player of the year on his way to amassing 3,510
yards and 30 touchdowns to just six interceptions. Last
year Beck threw for 353 yards in the Las Vegas Bowl, but BYU
still lost to California by a score of 35-28.
While BYU is
looking to add another win to their 8 game winning streak, the
Ducks are looking to snap a three game skid. Oregon has
also dropped three straight bowl games and at one time this
season was ranked as high as 11th.
