Alexander’s 2008 Hawaii Bowl Game Odds
Jeff Alexander struck again on Christmas Eve and cashed another one of his bowl picks. I guess what else did we expect since he has proven to be one of the best at breaking down bowl game odds season after season. Let’s take a look at why he thought Notre Dame -2 was the play and how he thought the Irish would beat Hawaii in their bowl game:
4* Major Christmas Eve Bowl BEST BET on Notre Dame -2
Notre Dame has lost 9 straight bowl games and with all the heat that Weis has taken down the stretch when his team dropped 4 of 5, you can bet that he’ll have his boys ready to play in this game. Outside of a loss at home against Syracuse, the Irish played good football this season, losing by five and three points to good North Carolina and Pitt football teams, and they beat a good Navy team which appeared in the bowl season. Hawaii’s schedule was nearly as challenging. If it had been, the Warriors would not be bowling. The Warriors are only 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. The Fighting Irish are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite of 0-3 points. Notre Dame needs this game more and will rise to the occasion tonight.
