Utah played in one of the very first Sun Bowls, and now the Utes come back as a member of one of the BCS conferences for the first time. Oregon State didn’t have high expectations entering the season, but they were favored over Missouri when the 2006 Sun Bowl odds came out. The Beavers were just 5-6 last year and were picked to finish 7th in the Pac-10, then the team got off to a 2-3 start to the season.
