Price’s 2008 Texas Bowl Picks

Dave Price is one of the top minds in the handicapping industry and he looks to continue to build a name for himself with the 2008 bowl picks that he posts.  Last night was just another example of how confident he is in breaking down the bowl game lines as he took Rice over Western Michigan as his highest rated Blowout Bowl game of the Year.  The Rice Owls lived up the his expectations as well, so let’s take a look at how he came to the conclusion that was the side to be on in the Texas Bowl.

7* Texas Bowl BLOWOUT on Rice -3
I love the high powered Rice offense in front on its own fans in the Texas Bowl tonight.  Rice is 21-9 ATS off an upset win as an underdog since 1992.  Its last win on the regular season over a good Houston team gives Rice lots of momentum here.  Rice averages 41.6 ppg on the season and is 8-2 ATS when it scores 28 or more points this season, winning by an average score of 46.8 to 32.9 in these spots.  Lay the number as I like Rice by double digits!
