04-13-22 | Brewers v. Orioles +161 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 32 m | Show
The Brewers off to a slow start this season at 1-3 after dropping two of three at the Cubs and then losing their opening at Baltimore, 0-2. The Brewers have been shut out in two of their four games thus far. The Brewers will return to their Ace here today in Corbin Burnes. Burnes has one start this year and he has no record with a 5.40 ERA in the team's opening game against the Cubs. Burnes went five innings and allowed four hits and three runs with three walks - not a performance we have been accustomed to from Burnes. Baltimore got its first win of the season in this opener against the Brewers. The O's got swept at Tampa Bay in the three game series, scoring a total of four runs. John Means will start today. Means had a very good start vs the Rays, going four innings and allowing just one run with five KO's and one walk. Burnes too big a favorite after his start to the season. Means pitched a great game and should have his team in this one. Play Baltimore. |
04-13-22 | Padres v. Giants UNDER 7.5 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 48 m | Show
Early afternoon game here in the NL West as the Giants host the Padres. The NL West looks to be one of if not the best division in baseball with these two teams and the Dodgers. The Padres are 4-1 after losing their opening game of the season to the D'back they have won four straight games. The pitching has been awesome, allowing to runs or fewer in three of five games. Sean Manaea will start for the Padres with a 1-0 record in one start with a 0.00 ERA and 0.14 WHIP. Manaea was nearly perfect in his opening start, going seven innings against the D'backs. He allowed no runs and no hits over those seven innings with seven KO's and one Walk. The Giants are 2-2 after four games, losing the opener of this series last night, 2-4. They have gone under in three of their four games. The offense hasn't been good of late, scoring six runs over the last three games. Logan Webb looked excellent in his start vs the Marlins, going six innings and allowing just one run and five hits. Two excellent pitchers and two great bullpens. I'll take UNDER. |
04-12-22 | Blue Jays +112 v. Yankees | 0-4 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 2 m | Show
A pair of AL East teams meet here tonight as the Yankees host the Blue Jays as they play game two of their series. The Jays opened with a shut-out win on Monday over the Yankees, 3-0. That makes the Jays 3-1 on the season after a 2-1 series win over the Rangers to open the season. Yusei Kikuchi will start for the Jays. He was 7-9 last year with a 4.41 ERA and 1.32 WHIP and makes his first start of this season. The Yankees are 2-2 after their first four games, taking two of three in the Boston series before losing game one here to the Jays. Nestor Cortes takes the hill for the Yankees. Cortes was 2-3 with a 2.90 ERA last season. Toronto is a small dog here tonight and I like them even as a favorite in this one. Play Toronto. |
04-12-22 | Mets +140 v. Phillies | 2-0 | Win | 140 | 5 h 42 m | Show
The New York Mets started the season 3-0 after taking their first three games against the Nationals. Then the Nationals took game four, 4-2, and the Phillies came from behind last night for the 5-4 win. The Mets look to snap that two game losing streak here tonight with Trylor Megill. Megill opened the season with a nice win over the Nationals, going five innings and allowing just three hits and no runs. He also struck out six and walked non. The Phillies are 3-1 to start the season with a pair of wins at home over Oakland and then winning game one here yesterday, 5-4. Zach Wheeler will toe the rubber for the Phillies. Wheeler gets his first start of the season after a 14-10 2021 campaing with a 2.78 ERA. The Mets are a pretty good sized dog here tonight and I like them in that live dog role as they stay close and hopefully beat the Phillies. |
04-12-22 | Indians +100 v. Reds | 10-5 | Win | 100 | 2 h 6 m | Show
The battle for Ohio rivalry gets underway again as Cleveland travels to Cincinnati for Ohio bragging rights. The Indians just wrapped-up a four game set at Kansas City. They lost the first two games, scoring a combined 1-run in the two games. However, the bats awakened in games three and four as they took those games by a combined 27-10 score. Shane Bieber will take the hill for the Guardians here today. Beiber is 0-0 in his only start this year with a 1.93 ERA and a 0.64 WHIP. Cincinnati also just complete a four-game set at Atlanta where they split the four games, winning the first and fourth games of the set. Tyler Mahle will start today for the Reds. Mahle is 1-0 this year with a 0.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. Mahle went five innings against the Braves, allowing one unearned run while striking out seven and walking just two. Two excellent pitchers here today, but I'll take the Guardians in this one. |
04-11-22 | Padres v. Giants OVER 8.5 | Top | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
The San Diego Padres opened the season in fine form by taking three of four games in Arizona. The final on Sunday had them blowout the D'backs, 10-5. The Giants had a much more difficult series with the pesky Miami Marlins. While they took two of three from Miami, all three games where decided by just one run and Friday's game the Giants had to come from behind to win in extra innings. Nick Martinez takes the hill for the Padres today. Martinez returns to the MLB after four seasons in Japan where he starred for the Fukuoka Hawks, posting a 1.62 ERA last season. His last year in the MLB came in 2017 where he went 17-30 with a 4.77 era in four seasons with the Rangers. Alex Wood toes the rubber for the Giants. Wood had a very good season last year in his first with the Giants, posting a 10-4 record and 3.83 ERA. I'm not sold on Martinez back in the US after what wasn't a very good stint in his last try. I'll take the OVER here today. |
04-11-22 | Mariners +118 v. Twins | 0-4 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 26 m | Show
The Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins conclude their four game series here today. The Mariners have taken two of the last three games, though they lost on Sunday, 4-10. Christ Flexen will start today for the M's. Flexen was 14-6 last year with a 3.61 ERA. Flexen had just 40 walks and 125 KO's last year. Flexen was 7-1 on the road with a 4.06 ERA. The Twins will start Dylan Bundy. Bundy had a very poor season last year with a 2-9 record and 6.06 ERA in his 23 games. The Mariners look to be the better team in this first week of the season and they definitely have the better pitcher on the hill today. Play Seattle. |
04-10-22 | Marlins v. Giants UNDER 8 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 14 m | Show
Both first two games in this series have been nail biters, with the Giants taking game one 6-5 in 10 innings. The Marlins beat the Giants on Saturday, 2-1 in a great pitchers duel. Both pitching staffs had 14 KO's in Saturday's contest. Trevor Rogers will start for the Marlins. Rogers was 7-8 last season with a very good 2.64 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. The Giants will turn to Anthony DeSaclafani who was 13-7 last year with a 3.17 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. Both starters are very good, both pens are good, this looks like a UNDER to me. |
04-10-22 | Mariners v. Twins UNDER 8.5 | 4-10 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 20 m | Show
The Mariners and Twins play the third game of their four game set here on Sunday. Seattle has won both games, 2-1 on Friday and 4-3 yesterday. Both games going under as both teams getting fine pitcher performances. The M's will send Marco Gonzales to the hill today. Gonzales had a fine campaign last season at 10-6 with a 3.96 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. The Twins will send Bailey Ober to the hill in search of that first win of the season. Ober was 3-3 last year with a 4.19 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. So far runs have come at a premium in this series and I don't see that changing here today. I' sticking with the UNDER. |
04-09-22 | Astros -105 v. Angels | 0-2 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 9 m | Show
The Houston Astros look to go 3-0 on the season here tonight at the LA Angels. The Astros took game one 3-1 and then Friday's contest 13-6. Justin Verlander returns to the Astros this season in a one-year deal. Verlander hasn't pitched a full season since the 2018 season when he won the Cy Young. He hopes to get back to those winning days starting tonight. The Angels look to get that first win and they look to Noah Syndergaard who left the Mets for the Angels this year. Both these pitchers are returning from Tommy John surgery and it should be interesting to see if they are anything near their old selves here tonight. For me, the Astros already have showed they have a ton of hitting and I'll take them again here tonight. Play Houston. |
04-09-22 | Marlins +133 v. Giants | 2-1 | Win | 133 | 4 h 7 m | Show
The Marlins play game two of their series here today from San Francisco. The Giants took the opener on Friday, 6-5 in 10 innings in a come-from-behind win. Miami finished in fourth place last year in the NL East with a 67-95 record. The Giants seemed to pick up right where they left off last year with another comeback win. The Marlins led last night's game for six innings before the Giants came back. Pablo Lopez toes the rubber for the Marlins. Lopez was 5-5 in his 20 starts last year. Lopez struck out 10.08 batters per 9 innings and pitched very well in his lone start vs the Giants. The Giants won a franchise record 107 games last year. Buster Posey retired and starting pitcher Kevin Guasman left in free agency. Rondon makes his first start for his new team after a 13-5 record last year. Rondon didn't make it through the entire 2021 season so the Giants are hoping he stays healthy this year. I believe the Marlins are a sleeper play here in game two as a nice dog. Don't expect Rondon to stick around long as the Giants don't want to over work him. I'll take the Marlins as my dog. |
04-08-22 | Mariners v. Twins UNDER 8 | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 3 h 14 m | Show
This game was supposed to be played yesterday, but was postponed due to bad weather. Seattle was a surprise team last year, finishing second in the AL West and barely missing the postseason after winning 90 games. Lefthander Robbie Ray starts for the Mariners today. The 10-year veteran begins his first year as a Mariner after a 13-7 season last year with the Blue Jays. The Twins have nowhere to go but up after finishing last in the division last year. Both these teams had issue scoring runs last year. Both these teams were also good under teams at the end of last year. I'm going to take the UNDER in what looks to be a cold Minnesota day. |
04-08-22 | White Sox -131 v. Tigers | 4-5 | Loss | -131 | 1 h 14 m | Show
Game one of a three game series here in Detroit today. The Sox looking to defend their AL Central Division Championship, winning 93 games last year. The White Sox just picked up AJ Pollack from the Dodgers for reliever Craig Kimbrel. Pollack should add a lot of hitting to this club. Lucas Giolito is the Ace of this staff and gets the start here today. Giolito is coming of a 12-9 season last year. Detroit hasn't made the playoffs since 2014 and made some big moves in the offseason to stop that trend. The White Sox are favorites for a reason, they have great hitting and pitching. I expect the Tigers to be better this year, but not right away. Take Chicago. |
04-07-22 | Indians v. Royals +115 | 1-3 | Win | 115 | 6 h 51 m | Show
Not a lot to go on with all the teams having their opening games. Still, you know me, I love to find love dogs and I believe I have found one here tonight with the Royals. They will be starting newly acquired Zack Grienke. Cleveland begins their era as the Cleveland Guardians here tonight. I'm going to take the Royals here tonight with Grienke as a very small dog and look for that opening night home win for KC. |
11-02-21 | Braves v. Astros -120 | 7-0 | Loss | -120 | 30 h 53 m | Show
Didn't look like we would have a games six on Sunday as the Braves jumped out to a 4-0 lead in game five. But, the Astros came back and won the game 9-5 to force the series back to Houston and a game six here on Tuesday. Max Fried will toe the rubber today for the Braves. Fried has one start in the World Series and that was five innings and he gave up seven hits and six runs in a 2-7 loss. That's two poor starts in a row in the postseason, as he's allowed 11 runs over his last 9 2/3 innings of postseason work. Luis Garcia will make his second WS start. Garcia went 3 2/3 innings in game three vs the Braves. He allowed one run and three hits. I believe the Braves lose here tonight as they should have won game five and finished this. Now they have to play games they don't want to. Look for a Houston win here in game six. |
10-31-21 | Astros -112 v. Braves | 9-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show
The final game of the World Series in Atlanta goes here tonight and the Braves can wrap things up after winning last night 3-2 and taking a 3-1 lead in this best of seven series. The Braves trailed a good part of last night's game, but chipped away and finally took a 3-2 lead late for the win. Tonight, the Braves are once again undecided on who they will start. With the loss of Charlie Morton they have been forced to go the route of openers here late but we could see Max Fried again here tonight. The Astros are going with game one starter, Framber Valdez. Valdez only went two innings in that start and gave up eight hits and five runs. For me, I really don't care what the Braves do for a starter here tonight. This is the game I am looking at Houston to win and force a game six back in Texas next week. Play Houston |
10-30-21 | Astros v. Braves OVER 8.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 9 m | Show
World Series game 3 was the first game to go under. Game one was a push, game two was the over and game three under. Tonight, Zack Greinke goes for the Astros. Greinke made his first start in a month when he started vs the Red Sox in the ALCS. However, he went only 1 1/3 innings and allowed one hit and that was a two-run home run. With Charlie Morton out for the rest of the World Series, the Braves look like they are turning to Jess Chavez here tonight. Chavez has only been in four games since September and those were just openers when he did start. He started in LA in the NLCS and went one inning and gave up no runs. If he goes tonight it will be another 1 to 2 inning outing. I'll take the OVER tonight as the one looks to go to the pens early. Play OVER. |
10-29-21 | Astros v. Braves -109 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show
The Atlanta Braves left Houston with what they wanted, a split in the first two games. However, they left with something they didn't want, the loss of Pitcher Charlie Morton to a broken leg. Morton could have started three games and now they will have to replace him. Luis Garcia starts here on Friday in game three for Houston. Garcia had a excellent outing vs Boston in his second ALCS start, going 5 2/3 innings with just one hit allowed and no runs. That came after a pair of postseason starts where he allowed 10 runs over just 3 2/3 innings. Ian Anderson starts tonight for the Braves. Anderson has been very good, allowing just three earned runs in his three postseason starts (12 innings). I still believe the Braves have the better pitching, even without Morton. I'll take Atlanta here in game three. |
10-27-21 | Braves v. Astros OVER 8.5 | Top | 2-7 | Win | 100 | 6 h 13 m | Show |
The Braves took game one of the World Series here on Tuesday night, 6-2. The total was a push for the over/under players. Tonight, the Astros looks to salvage one of the two home games. For me, I'm returning to the total here tonight. The Astros held to their lowest total so far in the playoffs last night. They have been a big scoring team in these playoffs, so this was unusual. Tonight, Max Fried takes the hill for the Braves. He's been very good, but had one of his worst outings last time out in the NLCS vs the Dodgers, going just 4 2/3 innings and allowing eight hits and five runs. Jose Urquidy will counter for the Astros, He also is coming off a poor start vs the Red Sox in the ALCS, going just 1 2/3 innings and allowing five earned runs and five hits. I don't expect the Astros to be held in check every game here and tonight I look for a higher scoring contest. Play the OVER. |
10-23-21 | Dodgers v. Braves OVER 8 | 2-4 | Loss | -120 | 2 h 24 m | Show
There is still life in the Dodgers. Chris Taylor hit three homes to power the Dodgers to a big win in game five and keep them alive. Officially they still haven't announced a starter here today. It looked to be Max Scherzer, but mayber he'll be held out and they will be do the opener again and see how the flow of the game goes. If they are ahead it might be the bullpens game. IF they are tied or close, we could see Scherzer come in. They would love to hold him back, get a win today and then start him in game seven. But what good is he if you lose today. The Dodgers finally settled late on Saturday on Walker Buehler. He is coming off a rough start against Atlanta, going just 3 2/3 innings with four runs allowed. The Braves counter with Ian Anderson who has pitched well of late, going 4-0 with a 3.89 ERA. I'm going to take the OVER here tonight. |
10-22-21 | Red Sox v. Astros OVER 8.5 | Top | 0-5 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Boston has their backs against the wall here on Friday as they face elimination in the ALCS. They trail the Houston Astros 2-3 as we play games 5 and 6 in Texas. The Astros took the last two games in Boston by a combined 18-3 score, with both game just getting over. The Red Sox will turn their best pitcher of late, Nathan Eovaldi. Eovaldi won the Wild Card game over the Yankees and then had a no decision in his one Tampa Bay start and beat the Astros. He's allowed six runs in his 15 2/3 innings of work in the playoffs. Houston will start Luis Garcia who faced off against Eovaldi in their last game. He only went one inning and allowed two hits and five runs, one of those a grand slam. He's now allowed 10 runs in just 3 2/3 innings of playoff work. I'm going to stick with what's worked and that's the OVER. |
10-21-21 | Braves v. Dodgers OVER 8 | 2-11 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
I'm very surprised at how the LA Dodgers have performed in this NLCS. It almost appears that the Giants series just took everything out of them. They have lost that excellent pitching they have had all year and even into the Wild Card and NLDS series. They have made errors and mental base running errors too. Now they are down 1-3 in this series as the Braves won again on Wednesday, 9-2. LA Likely will go with a opener here tonight so they are undecided at this moment. Max Fried goes for the Braves and I have been high on him all season long. The Dodgers will need some coaching overahaul during the offseason I'm afraid as Roberts just isn't the right fit for a team of this magnitude. He was quick to pull Scherzer when he was in a 1-1 game but left in Urias when he obviously was having problems. Those kinds of decisions will get this game OVER tonight. |
10-20-21 | Astros v. Red Sox OVER 9.5 | 9-1 | Win | 100 | 6 h 19 m | Show
If had a ticket on the UNDER 10 in yesterday's game you might still be shaking your head this morning. Going into the 9th inning these teams were tied 2-2 and was playing like a dead under. However, the Astros put up a 7-spot on the board in the top half of the inning to get the game over. They also tied the series at 2-2. Framber Valdez starts today after a horrid start last Friday vs the Red Sox. Valdez went just 2 2/3 innings, allowed six hits and three walks for three runs. He'll face Chris Sale who he faced in last Friday's contest. Sale didn't fare much better, also going 2 2/3 innings, allowing five hits and one run. I've been on the over in this series and I'm sticking with that here today. Play Over. |
10-19-21 | Astros v. Red Sox OVER 10 | Top | 9-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 33 m | Show |
If you didn't know better you might think that the Boston Red Sox know what pitches the Houston Astros pitchers are throwing. Well, that could very well be the case as some are saying the Astros pitchers are tipping their pitches before throwing them. IT sure looks that way since the Red Sox once again pounded the ball with their their grand slam in just three games with the Astros on Monday night. The Red Sox taking a 2-1 lead in this series with a 12-3 Monday win. That makes 21 runs by the Red Sox in just the last two games. For me, I've been on the OVER in all three games and all three have been winners. Zack Greinke makes his first start for the Astros tonight since September 19th. That could be good or bad and I believe it's the latter and not former. Nick Pivetta toes the rubber for the Sox with a 9-8 record and 4.50 ERA. I'm sticking with what's working. Take the OVER. |
10-18-21 | Astros v. Red Sox OVER 9 | 3-12 | Win | 100 | 20 h 59 m | Show
This ALCS best of seven returns to Boston for game three here on Monday. So far this series has pretty much been just what I thought it would be, a high scoring match. Both games have gone over thus far, with Houston winning game one 5-4 and losing game two, 5-9. Jose Urquidy will start for the Astros today. Urquidy is 8-3 on the season and has a 3.62 ERA. He hasn't started since October 3 vs Oakland, so this will be his first postseason start. Eduardo Rodriquez will go for the Sox, with a 12-9 record this year and 4.79 ERA. He did pitch against Tampa Bay in the ALDS and went five innings and allowed two runs. He hasn't pitched all that well at Fenway, going 4-4 in 14 starts with a 5.78 ERA. I'm sticking with what has worked for me in this series. Take the OVER. |
10-17-21 | Dodgers -166 v. Braves | 4-5 | Loss | -166 | 5 h 28 m | Show
The Dodgers dropped game one of this NLCS Best of seven on Saturday, 2-3. I had the Braves mainly because of the traveling the Dodgers had to do plus the emotional win over the Giants. I thought this was the best chance the Braves had with their Ace on the mound. Still, it took a walk off hit in the bottom of the 9th to win it. Plus, a base running blunder by Taylor in the top half of the inning might have changed everything had he not got into a run down between 2nd and 3rd. The Dodgers played much better then I thought they would. Which is why today I'm on the Dodgers. Now that they got that game out of their system and they have Ace Max Scherzer on the hill, I look for the to return to LA tied at 1-1. |
10-16-21 | Dodgers v. Braves +115 | 2-3 | Win | 115 | 20 h 30 m | Show
Dodgers and Braves open the NLCS here today in this best of seven series. The Dodgers just finished up one of their most emotional series ever against their long time rivals the Giants. Too bad one of those teams had to be done as both had won 109 games before the Dodgers took game five, 2-1. Yes, there was a controversial half swing call to end the game, but realistically the Dodgers likely would have won since there were two outs and a running only on first. Still, hate to see the game end that way for a great team like the Giants had. Now the Dodgers will have to turn those emotions to this series with the Braves. The Braves will start Max Fried here in game one. Fried is my favorite pitcher on this staff and he catches the Dodgers in what could easily be a letdown sport for them. Max Scherzer was expected to start here today, but he came in to close the game in the bottom of the 9th for the Dodgers. So, at this point it's still up in the air. For me, I don't care who they start. I'm looking for a flat Dodgers response here on Saturday and a great shot for the Braves to get game one. Play Atlanta. |
10-15-21 | Red Sox v. Astros -134 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 55 m | Show
The Boston Red Sox shocked everyone with a win in the ALDS over the team with the best record in the A.L. this year, Tampa Bay. After losing game one of the ALDS to the Rays, 0-5, they reeled-off three straight wins, scoring 26 runs in the process. Houston advances to the ALCS after beating the White Sox in four games. They also had a big hitting series with 31 runs over their four wins. Houston starts Framber Valdez here tonight in game one. Valdez was 11-6 this season with a 3.30 ERA. He's been slightly worse of late, going 3-2 with a 4.17 ERA over his last seven starts. Chris Sale gets the start for the Red Sox. Sale was 5-1 in his 10 starts with a 4.12 ERA. He wasn't very good in his four road starts where he went 0-1 with a 7.37 ERA. He allowed four hits and five runs to the Rays in the ALDS, going just one inning. I like the home team here in game one of the ALCS. Take Houston. |
10-15-21 | Red Sox v. Astros OVER 8.5 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 5 h 24 m | Show
The Boston Red Sox shocked everyone with a win in the ALDS over the team with the best record in the A.L. this year, Tampa Bay. I look for both teams to continue their big hitting ways in this series too. Play the OVER. |
10-14-21 | Dodgers v. Giants -110 | 2-1 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 36 m | Show
The Dodgers stayed alive and forced a decisive game five here in San Francisco on Thursday with their win in game four at home. The Dodgers made a late change on Thursday from Urias to Knebel. This seems strange to me since Urias has been so good and won 21 games. But, the Dodgers might be pulling a page from Tampa Bay and using Knebel as an opener for a few innings and then going to Urias. Still, I'm not happy about the move. Logan Webb has been impressive and he didn't disappoint in game one of this series, winning 4-0 and allowing just five hits over 7 2/3 innings with no runs. Webb is 7-0 at home this year with a 1.80 ERA. Webb has also owned the Dodgers. He's young and that's my only issue as to whether the pressure might get to him here tonight. This pitching change for the Dodgers just made up my mind for me. I'll take the Giants. |
10-12-21 | Brewers v. Braves -148 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 4 h 7 m | Show
The Atlanta Braves have used a great pitching performances to take a 2-1 lead in this best of five series over the Milwaukee Brewers. After losing game one, 1-2, the Braves won games two and three by the same score, 3-0. Tonight, the Braves throw another excellent pitcher at the anemic hitting Brewers. Charlie Morton is 14-7 with a 3.29 ERA on the year. Morton lost the opener to Milwaukee, but pitched excellent, going six innings and allowing just three hits and two runs. He struck out nine. That makes 30 KO's over the last four starts. Eric Lauer starts for the Brewers tonight with a 7-5 record and 2.87 ERA. He's been slightly worse on the road with a 2-2 record and 3.32 ERA. Should be another low scoring game, but I give the hitting edge to the Braves. Take Atlanta. |

10-11-21 | Giants v. Dodgers -197 | 1-0 | Loss | -197 | 8 h 32 m | Show
I really would like to play the Dodgers on the money line here, but 2.00 favorite is more than I will lay. The Dodgers came away from San Francisco with a 1-1 series and can take a commanding lead with their Ace on the hill today in Max Scherzer. However, Scherzer hasn't looked the Ace part recently, allowing 10 runs in his last two regular season games. In the Wild Card game vs the Cardinals he allowed just one run and three hits over 4 1/3 innings. However, anyone that watched the game saw he didn't have his best stuff. He allowed three walks, something he hadn't done since July. He was also visibly upset when Roberts removed him from the game in the 5th inning. However, I understood that move. Roberts gave the game over to his great bullpen and wanted to save Scherzer's arm for this game. Instead of 100+ pitches, he threw only around 80. Alex Wood has been very good for the Giants, going 10-4 with a 3.83 ERA. He wasn't quite as good on the road with a 3-2 record and 4.20 ERA. Big number here today on the Dodgers, but Scherzer has not lost at Dodgers Stadium since he was acquired by LA. I'll lay the big number with Max and LA. |
10-10-21 | Rays v. Red Sox -114 | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 3 h 54 m | Show
Boston got even this series with the Rays as they won game two at Tampa Bay, 14-6. Today the Rays look to regain home field advantage with a win at Boston. Drew Rasmussen will start for the Rays with a 3-0 record in his 10 starts this season. Rasmussen has a 1.93 ERA and has allowed just 5 total runs over his last seven starts. In fact, he has allowed more than one run in just two of his starts and both those were two run efforts. In three games against Boston he's allowed 10 hits and three total runs over 13 innings. Nathan Eovaldi makes his first start since winning the Wild Card match. Eovaldi is 12-9 with a 3.64 ERA this season. Tough matchup today with both pitchers hot. Eovaldi comes up big in big games. I look for Eovaldi to show up the hero again today. Play Boston. |
10-09-21 | Braves +114 v. Brewers | 3-0 | Win | 114 | 6 h 55 m | Show
The Atlanta Braves came so close to stealing game one of their series with the Brewers on Friday, losing 1-2. Today, they look to get that game as they send Max Fried to the hill. Fried is 14-7 on the season and the team has won his last five starts. Fried has a 3.10 ERA and he's been even better of late with a 3-0 mark (team 6-1) in his last seven starts with a 1.91 ERA. Fried has allowed just one run over his last three starts (23 innings). Milwaukee has Brandon Woodruff going today with a 9-10 record and 2.56 ERA. As good as his ERA has been this year, the team has lost his last four starts. Woodruff is also just 2-4 over his last seven starts with a 3.92 ERA. This looks the perfect pickins for the Braves to steal a game and take home advantage. Play Atlanta. |
10-08-21 | Dodgers v. Giants +109 | 0-4 | Win | 109 | 21 h 23 m | Show
The matchup most of us wanted to see is here as the top two teams in baseball this year meet here as the Giants host the Dodgers. Not only are these two teams hated rivals, but they have never in their storied histories met in the playoffs. So we are in for a dandy here in this series. The Dodgers needed a walk off home run from Taylor in the bottom of the 9th inning to get past a red-hot Cardinals team. They used up Max Scherzer in that game so tonight they turn to Walker Buehler who is 16-4 on the season with a 2.47 ERA. Buehler has been one of their top three this year and has given up just one run over his last 12 innings. He will face Logan Webb tonight. Webb is 11-3 with a 2.99 ERA and a 6-0 home record and 1.99 home ERA. Huge win for the Dodgers on Wednesday and I see them with a bit of a letdown here tonight. It's going to be a close game, but I'll take the Giants as a home dog in game one. |
10-07-21 | Red Sox v. Rays -147 | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 19 m | Show
Boston won an emotional Wild Card game on Wednesday over their hated rivals, the New York Yankees, 6-2. Now they travel South to face the Tampa Bay Rays. I have to wonder if they won't be in for a letdown here in game one after that big win. Eduardo Rodriquez will get the start tonight with his 12-8 record and 4.77 ERA. Rodrquez has bee pretty good over his last seven starts with a 3-1 record and 3.41 ERA. He will face off against Shane McClanahan who is 10-6 on the season with a 3.36 ERA. McClanahan has a 3-2 record and 2.65 ERA over his last seven starts. And, if you look at his last four starts, he's allowed just two total runs over 18 innings. I'm taking the Rays here tonight as they catch the Red Sox on the rebound from their big Wild Card win. Play Tampa Bay. |
10-07-21 | White Sox v. Astros -130 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 3 h 19 m | Show
The Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox open their playoff series here tonight in Texas. The White Sox look to Lancy Lynn to steal a road game here tonight. Lynn has a 11-6 overall record on the season with a 2.69 ERA. He hasn't been very good of late though, going 1-3 over his last seven starts with a 4.10 ERA. He's had two very bad starts out of his last five outings. Lance McCullers will look to get the win for Houston. McCullers was 13-5 overall on the season with a 3.16 ERA. He's been slightly better of late, going 3-1 in his last seven starts with a 3.02 ERA. Unlike Lynn, McCullers has put together much more consistent starts of late. I like the Astros here in game one. Play Houston. |
10-06-21 | Cardinals +210 v. Dodgers | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 18 m | Show
It seems a shame that a team that wins 106 regular season games is related to playing and one and done Wild Card game. But, that's what the Dodgers are doing after falling one game short of the Giants in the NL West. Now they also have to face the hottest team down the stretch in the Cardinals. St Louis won 17 straight games before losing a few at the end. Adam Wainwright, today's starter, was also a benefactor of that hot streak as the team has won his last eight starts and 13 of the last 14. Wainwright is 17-7 on the season with a 3.05 ERA. As for LA, they are forced to go with their best pitcher today in Max Scherzer. Scherzer was 15-4 on the season with a 2.46 ERA. However, he did falter in his last two starts, allowing 10 runs over 10 1/3 innings. So will he come out today the Scherzer who went five straight start without giving up a run, or the one who just gave up 10 runs in 10 1/3 innings? The price is high, over two dollars on Scherzer. I believe there is value in the underdog Cardinals today. At this +1.90 price how can you pass on a hot team with their best pitcher going. Take St Louis. |
10-05-21 | Yankees v. Red Sox +115 | Top | 2-6 | Win | 115 | 8 h 19 m | Show |
Don't get much better rivalries then the Yankees and Red Sox. And today we get the one and done AL Wild Card game. The Yankees needed a win in their last game to secure their playoff spot. They did lose three of of their last five games. And there is some concern about today's starter, Gerrit Cole. Cole did have an excellent season with a 16-8 record, but he also slumped in his final three starts. He allowed 15 runs over his last 17 2/3 innings of work. The Red Sox closed the season by sweeping the Washington Nationals. Though their last meeting with the Yankees in September they got swept. Nathan Eovaldi will start today's playoff game. Eovaldi is 11-9 on the season with a 3.70 ERA. He's been slightly better at home this season with a 6-4 record in his 19 home starts with a 3.39 ERA. Tough game here tonight, but I'll take the slight home dog here as I'm not sure about Cole and his recent play. Take the Red Sox. |
10-01-21 | Angels v. Mariners -150 | 2-1 | Loss | -150 | 10 h 34 m | Show
Who would have thought back in April that if you were talking the final weekend of the season that the Seattle Mariners are in position to grab a Wild Card spot would even be a topic. But they are tied with Boston for that 2nd spot right now, with Toronto one-game back. The M's have a great shot too as they host the Angels for this final weekend. Tonight, they will send Marco Gonzales to the hill. Gonzales is 10-5 on the season with a solid 3.80 ERA. He's 5-0 with a 3.35 ERA over his last seven starts with the team winning six of those seven. The Angels will start Jose Suarez who is 4-7 on the season with a 4.50 ERA. Suarez has been ok, not great. But for me, the Mariners with Gonzales are worth laying the price. |
09-30-21 | Padres v. Dodgers -1.5 | 3-8 | Win | 100 | 6 h 51 m | Show
The Dodgers looked dead in the water last night as they trailed the Padres. 9-6 heading into the bottom of the 8th inning. But four home runs and five runs lead them to another win, 11-9 to keep them 2-games back of the Giants. Tonight, they start Tony Gonsolin who is 3-1 in his 12 starts with a 2.56 ERA. Gonsolin has a 2-1 home record with a 2.13 ERA. He has allowed more than two runs just one time in his 12 starts and that was only three runs. The Padres start Vincent Velasquez who is 3-8 on the season wwith a 6.19 ERA. He's been much worse of late, going 0-5 in his last seven starts with a 12.36 ERA. The Dodgers can't afford any losses and I'll lay the Run Line here tonight. Play LA -1.5 Runs. |
09-30-21 | Rays v. Astros -145 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 35 m | Show
Tampa Bay has the AL East locked up at this point. That means they can afford to use more of the players they brought up from the minors. Houston hasn't locked up the West yet, but they could do so tonight against the Rays. Houston has a 3.5 game lead over Seattle. Realistically, the Mariners have a better shot at the AL Wild Card at this point as they are just a half game back of that playoff spot. Tampa starts Collin Mchugh who has no record in six starts. He hasn't gone post 2 1/3 innings in any start so he won't be around long tonight. The Astros will start Lance McCullers, who is 12-5 on the season with a 3.17 ERA. McCullers has been very consistent this year both on the road and at home. He's slightly better of late with a 3-1 record and 3.02 ERA. I'll take Houston tonight and see if they can wrap up the division. Play Houston. |
09-29-21 | Diamondbacks v. Giants -1.5 | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -130 | 7 h 35 m | Show |
The Giants are driving toward that NL West title. They lead the Dodgers by 2-games and don't look to give up that lead. They are hosting the last place Diamondbacks and then welcome the Padres. Looks like they should easily hold that division lead. The Diamondbacks right now look to play spoiler and came close last night, losing just 1-2. The D'backs start Merrill Kelly here tonight. Kelly is 7-11 with a 4.59 ERA. He has allowed 15 runs over his last three starts (15 2/3 innings). The Giants will start Alex Wood. Wood is 10-4 with a 4.00 ERA and a slightly better 3.86 ERA at home. Wood hadn't allowed more than two runs in any of his last five starts. I'll lay the Run Line here tonight with the Giants. |
09-28-21 | Brewers v. Cardinals +106 | Top | 2-6 | Win | 106 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
The St Louis Cardinals have won 16 straight games and unless they lose out the rest of the way, they should have the 2nd Wild Card spot locked-up. Today, they face the division leader in Milwaukee who has won three straight games. Brandon Woodruff will start today for the Brewers. Woodruff is 9-10 on the season with a 2.52 ERA. He's been worse of late, going 2-4 with a 3.55 ERA over his last seven starts. The Cardinals top pitcher goes today in Adam Wainwright. Wainwright is 16-7 on the season with a 3.05 ERA. He's been very good of late with a 5-0 record and team record of 7-0 in his last seven starts with a 2.37 ERA. Not sure why the Cardinals are a small dog here today, but I'll take it. Sure, they have to lose sometime, but until they do I'll take a shot on them at home as a dog. Play St Louis. |
09-26-21 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 5 h 38 m | Show
Dodgers should not be losing to this poor Arizona club, but that's just what happened yesterday as Clayton Kershaw couldn't get the win and LA lost 2-7. That drops LA back to 2-games from the leading Giants. Only two series left after this D'backs so they need wins and can't afford losses to this kind of club. Good news is one of their best on the mound today in Julio Urias who is 18-3 on the season with a 3.10 ERA. He's been even better of late, going 5-0 with a 2.04 ERA over his last seven starts. The D'backs start Humberto Mejia who is 0-2 in his three starts with a 7.20 ERA. Dodgers win this one going away, lay the Run Line. |
09-24-21 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 43 m | Show
The Wild Wild NL West has just gotten closer with the Dodgers closing to one game of the division leading Giants. The loser of this division will get the top NL Wild card and host that game, but neither want that one and done position. The Dodgers begin a 3-game set here tonight at Arizona before returning home for their last games of the regular season against San Diego and then Milwaukee. LA Starts Tony Gonsolin tonight who is 2-1 in his 11 starts with a 2.43 ERA. Gonsolin has been very good, allowing two runs or fewer in 10 of his 11 starts. He will face Humberto Castellanos tonight who is 2-0 in his five starts with a 4.63 ERA. Gonsolin just too dominating for me to pass on him here tonight. I'll take the Dodgers and lay the Run Line. |
09-23-21 | Dodgers v. Rockies UNDER 10.5 | 7-5 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 21 m | Show
Dodgers dropped to 2-games back of the Giants with a loss last night to Colorado coupled with the SF win at San Diego. The Dodgers will send their best and red-hot starter Max Scherzer to the hill. Scherzer has been amazing, allowing just two total runs over his last six starts. His ERA over his last seven starts, a paltry 0.57 with a team record 7-0. The Rockies will start their best pitcher here today in Kyle Freeland. Freeland is 6-8 on the season with a 4.50 ERA. He's been slightly better of late with a 3-2 record and 4.21 ERA. He's also coming off a six inning, no run performance against Washington. Bad spot here for Freeland going up against the hottest pitcher in baseball. I'll take the UNDER. |
09-22-21 | Cardinals +120 v. Brewers | 10-2 | Win | 120 | 6 h 22 m | Show
The St Louis Cardinals hold a 4-game lead over the Cincinnati Reds and a 4.5-game lead over the Philadelphia Phillies for the 2nd and last NL Wildcard spot. The Cards have been hot, winning 10 straight games and 12 of their last 13 games. The Brewers have the NL Central locked-up with a 9.5-game lead over the Cardinals. Miles Mikolas will start for the Cardinals. Mikolas is 1-2 in his seven starts with a 4.50 ERA. He is coming off his best start though, allowing just three hits and no runs over 5 2/3 innings against the Padres. He will face the Brewers' Brett Anderson who is 4-8 with a 4.18 ERA. Cardinals are red-hot and I'm sticking with that here tonight. Play St Louis. |
09-21-21 | Mariners v. A's OVER 8.5 | 5-2 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 9 m | Show
While the Seattle Mariners and Oakland A's are pretty much done for the AL West title, both teams still in the hunt for a Wild Card. Right now, the A's are 4th in the Wild Card race, 2-games back, while the Mariners are fifth at 3-games back. So it's a jumble between all five teams in the Wild Card with three teams missing out. Marco Gonzales starts today for the M's with a 8-5 record and 3.98 ERA. He's been slightly worse on the road where he is 4-3 with a 4.39 ERA. The A's will send Paul Blackburn to the hill. Blackburn is 1-2 in his six starts with a 4.94 ERA. I don't expect either starter to be very effective tonight. I'll just take the OVER in this one. |
09-21-21 | Astros v. Angels OVER 9 | 10-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 7 m | Show
Houston has a comfortable 7-game lead in the AL West over the Oakland A's and 8-games over the Mariners. They have won seven of their last 10 games and two in a row. They face the fourth place Angels today who are on a four-game losing streak and have also lost seven of their last 10 games. Jose Urquidy starts for the Houston and is having a fine season with a 7-3 record and 3.38 ERA. He's been better of late, going 3-0 with a 2.78 ERA in his last seven starts. In fact, he hasn't allowed over two runs in any of his last six starts. Packy Naughton makes only his fourth start for the Angels. Naughton is 0-2 with a 5.56 ERA. Naughton won't likely be around long, going past the fourth inning just once thus far and that was five innings. The Astros should score at will here today and may get this game over by themselves. Play the OVER. |
09-21-21 | Pirates v. Reds UNDER 9 | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 9 m | Show
The Cincinnati Reds still have a shot at that 2nd Wild Card spot. They trail the Cardinals by three-games for that playoff position. The Padres are one game back of the Reds and the Phillies 1.5-games back. So these games against the last place Pirates are important. Mitch Keller starts today for the Pirates with a 4-11 mark. He has a overall ERA of 6.14, but has been much better of late. Keller has a 4.80 ERA over his last seven starts and allowed six runs over his last 16 innings. Tyler Mahle will toe the rubber for the Reds. Mahle is 12-5 with a 3.58 ERA. He's been better of late, going 3-2 with a 3.02 ERA over his last seven starts. I'm going to take the UNDER here today with two decent starters. |
09-20-21 | Blue Jays -128 v. Rays | 4-6 | Loss | -128 | 5 h 53 m | Show
Tampa Bay has a fairly sizeable lead in the AL East of 6.5 games and doesn't look like that will be in trouble. Tonight they take on the third place AL East Toronto Blue Jays who are 7.5 games back. More import though is that the Jays hold that 2nd Wild Card spot right now with a 1 1/2-game lead over the Yankees. Robbie Ray will start tonight for the Jays with a 12-5 record and 2.64 ERA. Ray has been even better of late with a 3-0 record and 1.91 ERA in his last seven starts. The Rays will start their No. 1 prospect in Shane Baz, who last played for the USA in the Tokoyo Olympics and helped his team to a Silver Medal. Baz has been impressive in the minors. Baz is 5-4, 2.06 overall this season with Montgomery and Durham, striking out 113 in 78 2/3 innings and walking only 13. At Triple-A, he is 3-0. 1.76 in 10 games, with 69 strikeouts and 11 walks in 46 innings. I have to take a wait and see for the Rays starter, but Ray I know and will take a chance with. Play Toronto. |
09-20-21 | Rangers v. Yankees UNDER 8.5 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 55 m | Show
If the NY Yankees hope to make the postseason they will have to better then they have of late. The New York Yankees are now 1.5-games back of that final Wild Card playoff spot in the American League. They have lost two straight games and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Yankees will look to get a bit closer on the back of today's young start, Nestor Cortes. Cortes is 2-2 on the season with an overall 2.70 ERA. What impresses me is that in his 11 starts he's allowed three runs or fewer in 10 of those outings. And, in that other start, just four runs. Today, the Yankees will face Rangers starter A.J. Alexy who is 2-0 in his two starts with a 0.00 ERA. Alexy has look excellent, allowing just two total hits over his 11 innings with five walks and 11 KO's. I'm impressed with both these young starters and if they hold form this game will be an under. Play UNDER |
09-19-21 | Indians v. Yankees UNDER 8.5 | 11-1 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 1 m | Show
The Yankees have now dropped to 9-games back of the Rays in the AL East and 4th overall in the division. They are just a 1/2 game back in the Wild Card race so they need to win. The Indians are 11 games back in the AL Central and 10 back in the Wild Card. Eli Morgan starts for the Indians. He's had a tough season at 2-7 and a 6.03 ERA. However, his six starts on the road haven't been bad at 1-1 with a 3.31 ERA. Gerrit Cole goes the Yankees. Cole is 15-7 with a 2.75 ERA. He's allowed just four runs over his last five starts (27 2/3 innings). Don't see Cleveland getting much if anything here today. Play the UNDER. |
09-18-21 | Padres v. Cardinals -114 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Huge wild card series here as the Padres and Cardinals both fighting for that last playoff spot. First round goes to the Cardinals as they won last night over the Padres, 8-2. The Cardinals now lead the Reds by 1-games and the Padres by 1.5-games for that final spot. I'm sure we'll lots of movement in this are in these final games of the regular season. Yu Darvish starts today for the Padres. He's 8-10 on the season with a 4.32 ERA. He's been much worse of late, going 1-5 with a 7.86 ERA over his last seven starts. The Cards will send Adam Wainwright to the hill. Wainwright is 16-7 with a 2.88 ERA. Unlike Darvish, he's improved lately with a 6-1 record and 1.24 ERA over his last seven starts. I look for the Cardinals to take today's game and increase their Wildcard lead. Play St Louis |
09-17-21 | Phillies v. Mets UNDER 7.5 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 21 m | Show
The Phillies and Mets both fighting for that last NL Wildcard slot. The Phillies in better position though as they are just 2.5-games back of St Louis while the Mets are 5-games back. The Phils are 3-games back of the Braves for the NL East lead while the Mets are 5.5-games back. The Mets will try to snap a 3-game losing skid here tonight. They will send All-Star pitcher Taijuan Walker to the hill. Walker is 7-9 overall with a 4.24 ERA. He's been better at home with a 4-3 record and 3.41 ERA in 13 starts. Philly will send Zack Wheeler to the mound. Wheeler is 13-9 on the season with a nifty 2.86 ERA. He's allowed only one run over his last two starts (12 2/3 innings). I look for this game to be a close, low scoring affair. Take UNDER. |
09-15-21 | Yankees v. Orioles UNDER 10 | Top | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 3 m | Show |
The Yankees have been slumping and it's seen them fall from 2nd to tied for 3rd with the Blue Jays in the AL East. They are in a dog fight for one of those AL Wildcard spots with the Jays and Red Sox. The Yankees start Nestor Cortes today who is 2-2 in his 10 starts with a nifty 2.85 ERA. He's allowed more than three runs just one time in his 10 starts. John Means will toe the rubber for the O's with a 5-7 record and 3.42 ERA. Means has allowed two runs in each of his last three starts and that includes against these Yankees on Sept 3 in a 3-4 no decision. Both pitchers are very good and should keep this score in check. Play the UNDER. |
09-14-21 | Padres v. Giants -1.5 | 1-6 | Win | 125 | 5 h 8 m | Show
The San Francisco Giants just won't lose these days, much to the dismay of 2nd place LA that is trying to catch them. The Giants won again on Monday over the Padres, making them winners of eight straight games and they are 10-1 their last 11 games. The Padres have lost four straight games and seven of their last 11 games. Jake Arrieta starts today for the Padres. Arrieta is 5-12 on the season with a lofty 7.03 ERA. That goes way up in his last seven starts as he's 0-4 with a 12.17 ERA. Anthony Desclafani starts for the Giants. He's 11-6 with a 3.33 ERA on the season. Doesn't get any easier here tonight for the Padres who will once again struggle to score runs. Take San Francisco on the Run Line. |
09-14-21 | Marlins v. Nationals OVER 8.5 | 2-8 | Win | 100 | 2 h 29 m | Show
Miami Marlins are 6-4 in their last 10 games and look to extend their win streak to two games here tonight. The Marlins beat the Nationals on Monday night, 3-0. The will send Jesus Luzardo to the hill tonight. Luzardo is 4-6 on the season with a 6.25 ERA. He's been way worse on the road, posting a 0-2 record and a 9.64 in three away starts. The Nats will counter with Erick Fedde tonight. Fedde is 6-9 with a 5.31 ERA. He's been slightly worse of late with a 6.03 ERA and 2-2 record. Both starters likely not around long in this one. I'll take the OVER. |
09-13-21 | Cardinals -105 v. Mets | Top | 7-0 | Win | 100 | 4 h 33 m | Show |
The St Louis Cardinals closed out their series with the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday with a 2-0 win. Meanwhile, the Mets finished their Subway series with the Yankees. Both teams are still in the race for that final NL Wild Card slot. The Dodgers have the top spot locked at this point with a 16-game lead over the pack. The Padres and Reds are tied for the 2nd spot with the Cardinals one game back and the Mets 3.5-games back. The Cardinals start their best pitcher tonight in Adam Wainwright. Wainwright is 15-7 with a 2.98 ERA on the season. He's been even better recently, going 6-1 with a 1.57 ERA over his last seven starts. The Mets will start Rich Hill who is 6-6 on the season. Hill has a 3.71 overall ERA and slightly worse 4.01 home ERA. I like Wainwright and the Cardinals tonight who can get one step close to that Wild Card spot with a win. |
09-12-21 | Blue Jays -1.5 v. Orioles | 22-7 | Win | 100 | 1 h 26 m | Show
Toronto and Baltimore played only 7 innings on Saturday, but there was no lack of runs with the Jays winning 11-10. Toronto is tied for the 2nd Wild Card slot right now with the Yankees. But there are two teams nipping at their heals so they can't let their guards down. Toronto has been hot, winning nine of their last 10 games and 12 of their last 14 games. Toronto starts Steven Matz here today. Matz is 11-7 on the season with a 3.70 ERA. He's been very good of late, going 3-1 with a 1.63 ERA over his last seven starts. The ORioles will start Zac Lowther here today. Lowther has started just two games and he's allowed eight runs over 8 2/3 innings. Not much to go by with Lowther at this point. But I do know what I'm getting with the Blue Jays and Matz. Take Toronto on the Run Line. |

09-10-21 | Reds v. Cardinals +112 | Top | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 48 m | Show |
The Cincinnati Reds have been slumping. They just lost two of three games to the Cubs and are now 3-7 in their last 10 games. Their road trip continues here tonight in St Louis. The Cardinals are in third place right behind the Reds, but both teams are double digits back in the race for the AL Central. The Card have won two straight games. They send veteran leftie Jon Lester to the hill tonight. Lester is 5-6 on the season with a 4.89 ERA. He's pitched well of late, allowing just one run in each of his last three starts and four of his last five starts. The Reds start Tyler Mahler who is 11-5 with a 3.70 ERA. Mahler is the Reds best pitcher, but consider Lester's good run and the Reds recent troubles, I'll take the home dog in this one. Play St Louis. |
09-09-21 | Royals v. Orioles UNDER 8.5 | Top | 6-0 | Win | 107 | 7 h 18 m | Show |
The Kansas City Royals look to snap a 2-game losing streak here tonight against the Baltimore Orioles. These teams play the fourth game of their set with the Royals taking game one and then losing the next two. Carlos Hernandez will start tonight for the Royals. Hernandez is 4-1 in his eight starts with a 3.11 ERA. He's been good in his two road starts, going 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA. John Means starts today for the O's with a 5-6 record and 3.47 ERA. Means has not allowed more than three runs in any of his last three starts. I like this game to go under the total tonight. Play UNDER. |
09-08-21 | Reds v. Cubs +105 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 105 | 4 h 58 m | Show |
Cincinnati and Chicago have split the first two games of their series with the Cubs winning on Monday and the Reds on Tuesday, 4-3. The Reds have lost seven of their last 10 games while the Cubs have won eight of their last 10 games. Vladimir Gutierrez starts today for the Reds with a 9-6 record and 4.17 ERA. Alec Mills will toe the rubber for the Cubs with a 4-6 record and 3.57 ERA. The Cubs a small dog here tonight and they are even in pitching and are the hotter team. Play the Cubs. |
09-07-21 | Giants -1.5 v. Rockies | Top | 12-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 22 m | Show |
Giants came out of the weekend with the Dodgers and are still 1-game ahead of the Dodgers in the NL West. They have won two straight games as they continue to keep the Dodgers at bay. The Rockies are 25-games back of the Giants and have lost two straight games. The Rockies have been a very good home team, but have lost two straight at home and three of their last five. Logan Webb starts for the Giants with a 8-3 record and 2.59 ERA. He's been very good of late, going 4-0 with a 1.39 ERA over his last seven starts. Chi Chi Gonzalez starts for the Rockies with his 2-5 record and 6.20 ERA. Despite the Rockies decent home record I'm taking a very good Webb here today on the Run Line. |
09-06-21 | Tigers -128 v. Pirates | 3-6 | Loss | -128 | 13 h 41 m | Show
Interleague action here today as the Detroit Tigers take on the Pittsburgh Pirates on this Labor Day Monday. The Tigers are coming off series at Cincinnati where they took two of three from the Reds. The Twins scored 26 runs over the three games to just 10 by the Reds. The Tigers will start Tarik Skubal today who is 8-11 with a 4.31 ERA. Skubal is coming off a poor start, allowing six runs to the A's over five innings. However, prior to that game he had allowed just four runs over his previous four starts (22 2/3 innings). The Pirates will start Bryse Wilson. Wilson is 2-6 on the season with a 4.61 ERA. He's worse of late, going 0-4 with a 4.78 ERA over his last sevens starts. Take the Tigers here on Monday. |
09-05-21 | Orioles v. Yankees -1.5 | 8-7 | Loss | -150 | 2 h 43 m | Show
The Yankees have won just five of their last 10 games and because of that have slipped to 7.5-games back of 1st place Tampa Bay after having close to 5.5-games. The Orioles are one of the worst teams in baseball, yet they beat the Yankees on Saturday 4-3, thus splitting the first two games of this series. Keegan Akin starts for the Orioles today. Keegan is 2-8 with a 7.33 ERA and that goes up to 8.55 on the road. Corey Kluber makes his second start for the Yankees since coming off the disabled list. Kluber didn't fare to well in his first outing, going just four innings vs the Angels and allowing five hits and five runs. Still, the Orioles are just horrible with a terrible starter today. I'll take another shot with Kluber today on the Run Line. |
09-04-21 | Twins v. Rays -1.5 | 4-11 | Win | 100 | 3 h 26 m | Show
Tampa Bay has extended its lead in the AL East over the NY Yankees to 6.5-games, thanks in big part to a 8-2 run over their last 10 games. The Twins, well they are in last in the AL Central and that doesn't look to change. They have lost three straight games and six of their last 10 games. The Twins start Andrew Albers here today for just his second start of the season. Albers did well in his first start, going 5 1/3 innings vs the Brewers, allowing three hits and no runs. Chris Archer makes just his third start since returning from the IL list. Archer has allowed just two runs over his six innings with 10 KO's and just two walks. Rays just too tough to pass on here today. Lay the Run Line with the Rays. |
09-03-21 | Braves v. Rockies +125 | 3-4 | Win | 125 | 8 h 40 m | Show
The Colorado Rockies came up a bit short at home last night against Atlanta, losing 5-6 despite leading early in the game. The Rockies still have one of the top home team records in baseball at 43-23. The Braves are in first place in the NL East. They have lost six of their last 10 games on a difficult West Coast trip that has included the Giants and Dodgers. The Braves were swept by the Dodgers but took two of three from the Giants. The Braves start Huascar Ynoa tonight who is 4-4 on the season with a 2.95 ERA. The Rockies start Antonio Senzatela who is 3-9 overall with a 4.18 ERA. However at home that drops to 3.89 ERA and over his last seven starts it drops to 3.09 ERA. Senzatela has been very good of late and at home he's worth the dog price shot here. Play Colorado. |
09-03-21 | Twins v. Rays OVER 9 | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 10 m | Show
The AL Central last place Minnesota Twins take on the AL East leading Tampa Bay Rays here tonight. The Twins lost both games of their 2-games series with the Cubs and have split their last six games. The Rays saw their 9-game winning streak come to an end against the Boston Red Sox. They lost the last two games to the Sox as they still lead the Yankees by 6.5-games in the LA East. The Twins start Randy Dobnak tonight. Dobnak is 1-3 in his five starts with a 6.25 ERA. Michal Wacha starts for the Rays. Wacha is 2-4 on the season with a 4.93 ERA. He's been slightly worse of late, going 0-2 over his last seven starts with a 6.48 ERA. I'm going to take the OVER here today. |
09-02-21 | Brewers v. Giants UNDER 7.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 4 h 12 m | Show
The San Francisco Giants have given up first place in the NL West to the Dodgers. The Giants are now a half game back of the Dodgers. The Giants can thank a four-game losing skid for the drop. The Giants offense has gone South too, with just five total runs over their last games. The Brewers have taken the first three games of this four-game set with dominating pitching. Eric Lauer starts today for the Brewers with a 4-5 record and 3.20 ERA. He's been better of late, going 2-2 with a 2.04 ERA. The Giants will try and stop their skid with one of their best pitchers in Logan Webb. Webb is 8-3 on the season with a 2.67 ERA. He's been great at home with a 5-09 record and 1.75 ERA. I can't play the Giants, but I do like the UNDER here tonight. |
09-01-21 | Red Sox v. Rays -112 | 3-2 | Loss | -112 | 5 h 27 m | Show
The Red Sox are in some Covid trouble right now, with eight members of their team having tested positive. That doesn't include the other two who are in quarantine for close contact. Kike Hernandez didn't play on Tuesday due to Covid along with four members of the bullpen. Xander Bogaerts was pulled after one inning after his latest test came back positive. And after all that the Red Sox lost 5-8. Now they have to play the first place Rays again tonight. They are already shorthanded. For me, doesn't matter who pitches in this game, a team can't be handcuffed like that and beat a first place team like Tampa Bay. Take the Rays. |
09-01-21 | Rockies -125 v. Rangers | Top | 9-5 | Win | 100 | 13 h 21 m | Show |
Colorado has lost back-to-back games to the Texas Rangers by the same score, 3-4. The Rockies will try to take the third game of this set that goes early here on Wednesday. The Rockies will send Kyle Freeland to the mound today. Freeland is 5-6 with a 4.17 ERA. He's been better of late, going 4-2 over his last seven starts with a 2.79 ERA. Freeland has given up two runs or fewers in six of his last seven games and has won five straight decisions. The Rangers will send Kohei Arihara to the hill. Arihara is 2-3 on the season with a lofty 6.59 ERA. He is 0-2 in his three home stars with a 11.32 ERA and 2.031 WHIP. Colorado is a very good home team, not so good on the road, but this is spot I can play them on the road. Take the Rockies. |
08-31-21 | Braves v. Dodgers UNDER 7.5 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 21 m | Show |
The Dodgers edge ever closer to the Giants for 1st place in the NL West. LA is now 1.5 games back after beating Atlanta on Monday. The Dodgers have won seven of their last 10 games. The Atlanta Braves are still in 1st place in the AL East, 3.5 games ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves are the only team in the East with a positive differential number of +90. The Dodgers are a MLB best +211 run differential. Charlie Morton starts today for the Braves with a 12- record and 3.54 ERA. He's been slightly better on the road where he is 7-2 with a 2.94 ERA. The Dodgers will start Walker Buehler who is 13-2 on the season with a nifty 2.02 ERA. He's been great of late, going 3-1 with a 1.13 ERA over his last seven starts. Tough side to call here, so I'll stick with the total. Play UNDER. |
08-30-21 | Red Sox v. Rays -135 | Top | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 48 m | Show |
The first place Tampa Bay Rays have baseball's current longest win streak at seven games. Despite the Yankees being red-hot, the Rays have kept them at bay by winning nine of their last 10 games and 12 of their last 13. Unfortunately the Red Sox are stuck in the same division with the Rays and Yankees and therefore are 8-games back in the division. Boston starts Nick Pivetta here today. Pivetta is 9-6 on the season with a 4.57 ERA. He's been slightly worse of late with a 2-2 record and 5.34 ERA over his last seven starts. Luis Patino will toe the rubber for the Rays. Patino is 2-3 in his 10 starts this year with a 4.82 ERA. He's been better at home going 2-2 with a 2.28 ERA. I'm sticking with the red-hot Rays here on Monday. Play Tampa Bay. |
08-29-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Orioles | Top | 12-8 | Win | 100 | 2 h 7 m | Show |
The Tampa Bay Rays have won 6-straight games and nine of their last 10 games. They have needed it too in order to hold off the surging NY Yankees that have closed the gap in the AL East to just 5-games. The Orioles snapped their 19-game losing streak last week and now have another two-game losing streak started. The O's have dropped the first two games of this set with the Rays, 3-6 and then last night 3-4. The Rays have welcomed back Chris Archer to the rotation. Archer has no record after his one start since April 10th. That was just two innings, but he allowed just one hit and no runs. The O's will start Spenser Watkins who is 2-6 on the season with a 7.24 ERA. He's been slightly worse lately with a 1-6 record and 8.81 ERA over his last seven starts. Archer likely won't go to much farther today, but the O's are bad and they have a bad starter on the hill. Play Tampa Bay on the Run Line. |
08-28-21 | Giants v. Braves UNDER 9 | 5-0 | Win | 100 | 19 h 22 m | Show
The SF Giants have been hot, but the Dodgers even hotter. The 1st place Giants have seen their lead in the NL West shrink to just 1.5-games after losing to the Braves in game one of their set on Friday, 5-6. That loss snapped a five game win streak for the Giants. The Braves are also in 1st place in the their division, the NL East. They lead the Phillies by 6-games. The Braves had won nine-games in a row before they ran into the NY Yankees buzzsaw. The Yankees took both games vs the Braves so it was nice to get back to the winning ways here last night over the Giants. The Giants will start Logan Webb. Webb is 7-3 on the season with a nifty 2.87 ERA. He's been even better of late, going 3-0 with a 1.91 ERA over his last seven starts. The Braves will start Huascar Ynoa tonight. Ynoa is 4-3 with a nice 2.95 ERA. His home ERA is slightly better at 2.15. I like both these teams to be in a pitcher's battle tonight. I'll take the UNDER. |
08-28-21 | Astros -1.5 v. Rangers | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 19 m | Show
The Houston Astros have opened up a 6.5-game lead in the AL West thanks in part to 2nd place Oakland slumping to 2-8 over their last 10 games. The Rangers are last in the division with a 44-84 record and have lost three straight and eight of their last 10 games. Framber Valdez starts for the Astros today. Valdez is 8-4 on the season with a 2.94 ERA. Kolby Allard starts for the Rangers with his 2-10 record and 5.29 ERA. He's been even worse of late, going 1-4 with a 6.87 ERA in his last seven starts. I'm going to lay the Run Line here today with the Astros. |
08-28-21 | Cardinals v. Pirates UNDER 8.5 | Top | 13-0 | Loss | -106 | 19 h 7 m | Show |
The Cardinals and Pirates play game three of their set here tonight from Pittsburgh. The Pirates took game one on Thursday, 11-7 and the Cards took last night's game, 4-3. Adam Wainwright starts for the Cardinals tonight. Wainwright is 12-7 with a 3.10 ERA. He's been very good of late, posting a 5-1 record and 1.76 ERA and 0.843 WHIP over his last seven starts. The Bucs will start Steven Brault who is 0-2 in his four starts but has a nice 1.93 ERA. All four of Brault's games have gone UNDER. I like both these pitchers here tonight and I will take the UNDER. |
08-27-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Orioles | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 5 h 9 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles snapped their 19-game losing streak with a win over the Angels on Wednesday. Now, they have won two straight games after beating the Angels twice. Tonight they face AL East leader in Tampa Bay. The Rays need to win since the Yankees have won 12 games and shaved four games off the Rays lead here just recently. Shane McClanahan starts tonight for the Rays. He's 8-4 on the season with a 3.63 ERA. Matt Harvey will start for the Orioles. Harvey is 6-13 with a 6.27 ERA. He's 2-8 at home with a 6.62 ERA. I look for the Rays to take these games serious and therfore I'll lay the Run Line here tonight with Tampa Bay. |
08-26-21 | Dodgers -127 v. Padres | Top | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
The Dodgers and Padres played the longest game of the season in baseball, a 16-inning contest the Dodgers won on A.J. Pollock's 2-run home run in the top of the 16th to win the game for LA, 5-3. The Padres found themselves without any position players early in extra innings and it cost them dearly. The Dodgers remained 2.5-games back of the Giants for 1st place in the NL West while the Padres dropped to 15-games back. The Padres have also lost three straight games and eight of their last 10. Max Scherzer starts for the Dodgers with a 11-4 record on the season and 2.65 ERA. Scherzer hasn't allowed more than two runs in his last five games. The Padres start Yu Darvish. Darvish had a good start to the season but has fallen on hard times. He's 7-7 on the season, but 0-5 in his his last seven starts with a 7.13 ERA. I'll take the Dodgers again here on Thursday. |
08-26-21 | Giants -114 v. Mets | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
The Mets keep finding ways to lose these days. They led the Giants on Wednesday 2-1 going into the 7th inning before the Giants rallied for the win 3-2. The Giants held their 2.5 game lead in the NL West over the Dodgers. The Mets have fallen to 7-games back in the NL East after losing eight of their last 10 games. Alex Wood starts for the Giants today. Wood is 10-4 on the season with a 4.11 ERA. Wood has allowed just two earned runs in each of his last two starts. The Mets will turn to Carlos Carrasco today. Carrasco is 0-2 in five starts with a 8.82 ERA. The Mets woes will continue tonight. Take the Giants. |
08-25-21 | Dodgers -138 v. Padres | Top | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 21 m | Show |
The Dodgers are inching closer to NL West leader San Francisco. The Dodgers have won nine of their last 10 games and now trail the Giants by just 2.5-games in the NL West. The Padres are pretty much out of the race in the NL West, now 14-games back after losing eight of their last 10 games. The Dodgers start Walker Buehler tonight with his 13-2 record and 2.11 ERA and 0.930 WHIP. The Padres will start Yu Darvish or Snell tonight. Either starter will have a tough go tonight. Darvish is just 7-7 with a 3.70 ERA. Darvish is 0-5 in his last seven starts with a 7.13 ERA. No matter who the Padres start, I will take the Dodgers here on Wednesday. |
08-25-21 | Angels -1.5 v. Orioles | 6-10 | Loss | -136 | 7 h 17 m | Show
The LA Angels are now sitting in 4th in the AL West, 11.5 games back of the 1st place Houston Astros. The Angels beat the Orioles in game one of this set, 14-8. that win snapped a three game losing streak to the Indians. What can you say about the Orioles. They have now lost 19 straight games as they go for number 20 tonight. The Orioles look to start newly acquired pitcher Chris Ellis. The O's claimed Ellis off waivers from the Rays. Ellis wasn't very good at the Triple-A level with a 6.32 ERA in 57 innings. The Angels will start Shohei Ohtani who is 8-1 on the season with a 2.79 ERA. Ohtani hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of his last six starts. I'll lay the Run Line here tonight with the Angels. |
08-25-21 | Rays +126 v. Phillies | 7-4 | Win | 126 | 7 h 16 m | Show
Tampa Bay continues to hold onto that first place lead in the AL East, now 4-games ahead of the surging Yankees. With the Yankees having won 11-straight games they have closed the gap in a hurry. The Phillies have lost seven of their last 10 games and dropped to 4.5-games back of 1st place Atlanta Braves. The Rays will start Ryan Yarbrough today. Yarbrough is 4-4 on the season with a 4.91 ERA. Zack Wheeler will start for the Phillies. Wheeler is 10-8 with a 2.77 ERA. He's been slightly worse of late, going 4-3 with a 4.04 ERA over his last seven games. I'll take the Rays here today against a struggling Phillies team. |
08-24-21 | Yankees v. Braves -132 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -132 | 9 h 5 m | Show |
The Yankees are 6.5-games back in the AL East after splitting their last 10 games. They opened this IL series with the Braves with a win on Monday, 5-1. The Braves lost their first game in their last 10 with that loss last night to the Yankees. Still, they are 9-1 over their last 10 and have increased their lead in the NL East to 4.5-games over the Phillies. The Yankees start Andrew Heaney tonight, who is 8-8 on the season with a 5.51 ERA. Charlie Morton will start for the Braves. Morton is 12-4 with a 3.41 ERA. I look for the Braves to rebound here tonight. Play Atlanta. |
08-24-21 | Rays -116 v. Phillies | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show
Another IL contest here today on Tuesday has the 1st place AL East Tampa Bay Rays taking on the 2nd Place NL East Philadelphia Phillies. The Rays have won two straight games and seven of their last 10-games as they opened up a 4-game lead on the Yankees. Philadelphia has lost six of its last 10 games and dropped to 4.5-games back of the Braves. Drew Rasmussen will start for the Rays. Rasmussen makes just his fifth start with no record and a 2.77 ERA. Ranger Suarez starts for the Phillies with a 0-1 record in his four starts this year. Suarez has a 2.45 ERA. Both starters have small resumes, but the Rays are the better team right now. Play Tampa Bay. |
08-23-21 | Rockies v. Cubs -122 | Top | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 31 m | Show |
The Rockies are a excellent home team, however, they are not good on the road. Away from Coor's the Rockies are just 14-45 with the fewest road wins in baseball. The Cubs are not good since they traded away most of their high priced talent. They have lost three straight and eight of their last 10 games. The one bright spot is tonight's starter, Kyle Hendricks. Henricks is 14-5 on the season with a 4.04 ERA. He's coming off an excellent outing at Cincinnati where he allowed just one run and three hits over six innings for the win. With the Rockies so bad on the road and the Cubs best pitcher on the hill, I'll take Chicago tonight. |
08-22-21 | White Sox v. Rays -126 | 0-9 | Win | 100 | 3 h 31 m | Show
The Tampa Bay Rays continue to hold onto 1st place in the AL East, now 4-games ahead of the Yankees. The Rays have won seven of their last 10 games. They lost the opener of this series with the White Sox, 5-7 and won last ngiht, 8-4. The White Sox are running away with the AL Central, comfortably leading the 2nd place Indians by 10.5 games. The Sox will start Reynaldo Lopez today. Lopez is 1-0 in his three starts with a 0.82 ERA. Lopez has been good, but he's only gone 3,3 and 5 innings his his three starts. The Rays will start Chris Archer. Archer returns since making his first start back on April 10. Archer missed all of 2020 after having surgery. Tampa re-acquired Archer from the Pirates in a one-year deal. Should be interesting to see how far Archer goes in this one. Don't expect either starter to be around long. I'll take the Rays pen in this game. Play Tampa Bay. |
08-22-21 | Braves -154 v. Orioles | Top | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 2 h 26 m | Show |
The Baltimore Orioles have seen their losing streak reach 17 games after losing to the Braves on Saturday, 4-5. The O's have generated very little offensively during this losing streak, while the pitching has been ok at times, but not good either. The Braves have taken the first three games of this four game set with Baltimore. The Braves have a 8-game win streak and lead the Phillies by 5-games in the NL East. The Braves start Touki Toussaint today who is 2-2 in his six starts with a 4.01 ERA. He has allowed over two runs just one time in his six starts. John Means will toe the rubber for the Orioles today. Means is 5-5 in his 18 starts with a respectable 3.44 ERA. He's been worse of late though, 1-4 with a 6.54 ERA over his last seven starts. I'm sticking with the Braves again here today. |
08-21-21 | Diamondbacks v. Rockies -140 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show
The Colorado Rockies continue to prove why they are one of the best home teams in baseball. Not only are they now 42-21 at Coor's Field, but they have won four straight on this homestand including a 3-game sweep of the San Diego Padres. They beat the D'backs last night, 9-4. The D'backs are one of the worst if not the worst teams in baseball with a 41-82 record. They are just 14-46 on the road. Azc Gallen starts for the D'backs with a 1-7 record and 5.03 ERA. He's been worse lately, going 0-4 with a 6.55 ERA his last seven games. Kyle Freeland will start for the Rockies. Freeland is 4-6 with a 4.40 ERA. However, he's been better of late, going 3-4 with a 3.38 ERA. I'm sticking with the heavily home favored rockies here. Play Colorado. |
08-21-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Orioles | 5-4 | Loss | -120 | 7 h 49 m | Show
How bad have things been for the Baltimore Ravens? How about 16-straight losses and a MLB worst 38-83 record. The Braves have won the first two games of this series, 7-2 and then last night 3-0. Drew Smyly will start today for the Braves. Smyly is 8-3 on the season with a 4.50 ERA. HE's 5-2 on the road with a 4.52 ERA. Veteran Matt Harvey will toe the rubber tonight for the Orioles. Harvey is 6-12 on the season with a 6.25 ERA. Harvey hasn't been horrible, but with these Oriole bats behind him he has to almost be perfect to get a win these days. I'm going to stick with the play I've made the last two nights and that's the Braves run-line. |
08-20-21 | Diamondbacks v. Rockies -1.5 | Top | 4-9 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
Rockies are one of the best home teams in baseball with a 41-21 record at Coor's Field. In fact, they are coming off a 3-game home sweep of the Padres, scoring 20 runs in the 3-game set. Today they face one of the worst road teams in baseball in the Arizona Diamondbacks who are just 14-45 away from home. Tyler Gilbert makes only his second start here for the D'backs. In his first he threw a no-hitter for the Diamondbacks. What a way to make your debut. However, that was at home and now he has to go to the unfriendly pitcher park of Coors. Austin Gomber will start for the Rockies. He's 9-7 on the season, but 5-1 at home with a great 1.70 ERA. I think Gilbert will find life less enjoyable here today in this park. Play Colorado on the Run Line. |
08-20-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Orioles | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 7 h 39 m | Show
The Atalanta Braves are in 1st place in the NL East, thanks in big part to their six-game win streak and winning nine of their last 10 games. Today, they play an IL Game against the worst team in the junior circuit. Baltimore is just 38-82 on the season and has lost 15 straight games. Max Fried gets the start for the Braves with a 10-7 record and 3.86 ERA. He's been even better of late, going 5-2 with a 2.36 ERA over his last seven starts. Keegan Akin still looking for his first win of the year for the O's with a 0-7 record in his 10 starts. He has a lofty 9.29 ERA and as hard as it is to believe it's even worse of late with a 0-6 record and 12.67 ERA over his last seven starts. Braves should feast on this team and pitcher here today. Lay the Run line with the Braves. |
