Jimmy Boyd had another solid run to finish off his 2008 college football campaign and his bowl picks are going to finish off another great season. Wake will avenge an early season loss to Navy in the first bowl game of the season. Wake is 20-6 ATS vs. poor passing teams averaging 150 or less passing yards/game since 1992. Wake’s defense is only allowing 15.8 ppg on the road this season and only 117 yards on the ground. Navy is going to have to be able to pass this time around to beat the Deacs and I just can’t see it happening. I also don’t read much into Wake’s earlier season loss to Navy as QB Riley Skinner through 4 INT’s in that game. That won’t happen again. Take Wake in this one.
