Portland at Minnesota 8:00 ET Timberwolves (Pk) over Trailblazers- Both these clubs have been good to 'us' thus far on-and-against each side. The Blazers have been impressive at home posing a 10-2 winning record and even more so when you see they are 12-2 on the road including 3-0 on their current trip. Minnesota comes up the favorite tonight as Kevin Love has established himself as one of the the premier power forwards in the league. That seems a bit 'odd' as Portland went 4-0 against Minnesota last year and has won 21 of the past 23 meetings but are playing their fourth road game in five days. This will be a tough one as we've and great success playing 'against' Golden State and we will ride that winner (or loser) as long as we can as they are 0-4 ATS in their last four contests. Indiana at Portland 10:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Pacers- The NBA's two hottest clubs clash in Portland where the Trailblazers host the 16-1 Indiana Pacers. The Blazers have won 12 of their last 13 and are 6-1 at home. Portland is tied with the Spurs for the best record in the Western Conference at 14-3 and will betested here and tomorrow as the Oklahoma City Thunder come to town. Aside from the power and of force of center Roy Hibbard both clubs have emerging superstars in Paul George of the Pacers and LaMarcus Aldridge. Phoenix at New Orleans 8:00 ET Pelicans (-) over Suns- The NBA's two least experienced teams square off in New Orleans where the 1-2 Pelicans host the 2-1 Phoenix Suns. New Orleans blew a 17-point lead to the Pacers in their season opener at home, lost to the Magic by 20 on the road and then returned home to post their first win against Charlotte. In that win over the Bobcats they established franchise-record 18 blocked shots and average 9.3 a game. Phoenix started with two home wins and then played tough before losing to the Thunder in Oklahoma City but are now receiving 'a bunch' of points in this their second road contest. Last year the Suns were 8-33 on the road and I don't expect that to improve by much this season. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Indiana at Detroit 7:30 ET Pistons (+) over Pacers- The undefeated (3-0) Indiana Pacers invade Detroit where the (2-1) Pistons are 2-0 and 3-0 ATS on the season. The Pacers opened less then a field goal favorite in this affair which is surprising if you look at the results of their recent meetings. Indiana has won five straight in the series including all four contests last year by an average of 20 points. That is why it is so surprising the 'price' is so low here. Detroit has built a strong front line that can play with Indiana and with the return of Brandon Jennings have speed in the back-court to match the Pacers. Take DETROIT!

Last season Miami won all three meetings by and average of 13 points while being out-rebounded by 142-88. The Heat are currently last in the NBA in rebounding while the Raptors are at the bottom in assists. The Heat are 0-2 on the road with two narrow losses to Philadelphia and Brooklyn and haven't put it together yet. Take the RAPTORS!

The 76ers have won five straight at home over the Warriors and yet being undefeated they are a heavy underdog. The Golden State front court will give Williams fits as the Warriors rule. Jeff Teague is the only other player with Atlanta that has been on the squad more then two seasons. Until Kobe Bryant returns the Lakers will be a 'go against' team. Take the HAWKS!

With J.R. Smith still serving a five-game suspension New York will be without a key player on both offense and defense. The Knicks are coming off an emotional one-point loss to the Bulls and better take this opponents seriously or they can end up on the short end of this final score. Take MINNESOTA!

San Antonio at Miami 9:00 ET Heat (-) over Spurs- In a surprise to most of my expert friends I posted San Antonio in Game 6 and ended up posting the point spread winner as the Heat came from behind to win but not 'cover' in overtime. My first instinct is to comeback with the Spurs and take the points but I believe that Miami has a better game in them then what we saw in the victory. The Spurs do have better balance but they have caused a stir because two unknowns in Danny Green and Gary Neal played over their heads. Pressure in a Game7 is different and I expect LeBron James to takeover for the full 48 minutes. Take MIAMI!

San Antonio at Miami 9:00 ET Spurs (+) over Heat- The Miami Heat may have the best player on the planet but they haven't had the best player in the Finals in Danny Green who has made a record 25 3-point field goals in five games. It is obvious that San Antonio is better balanced, plays a better team game and most would agree that they have better coaching and yet the Heat have the 'Le Bron & Wade' Factor. With Wade having such a great Game 4 in may have thrown the rest of the Heat out-of-sync as they just seem to be idle. I'm not sure San Antonio can win here but. Indiana at Miami 8:30 ET Heat over Pacers- After what we all witnessed on Saturday night it will be difficult for anyone to lay points with the Heat against the Pacers Monday night. Not only dd Indiana look stronger and like the better team but their inside play was so dominating it's hard to believe that even with LeBron James that Miami can win much less 'cover' this number. Indiana had a 53-33 advantage in rebounding and a 44-22 edge in points in the paint. Chris Bosh has only five field golds and only 12 rebounds in the last three games. Board play for Miami should improve with the return of Chris Anderson and LeBron has averaged 34.3 points in Games 7s. The Heat are 43-6 at home while the Pacers are still just 22-27 on the road.
