Michael Alexander got the clients of his bowl picks off to a great start to the new year when he selected the Iowa Hawkeyes over the South Carolina Gamecocks in the 2009 Outback Bowl.  If you want a little help beating the few bowl game odds that remain on the board, then make sure you take a long hard look at Michael Alexander and what he has to offer.  Plenty of games left on the board means a lot more profit yet to be made on the season.  Take a look at some the reasons he liked Iowa in this one to learn a little more about how to look at the games yourself:

It was certainly a surprise when this contest was announced as Iowa started the season 3-3.  However three of the defeats were by 9 points. Iowa did right the ship and ended the season with an upset of Penn State. After crushing Minnesota 55-0, Iowa is 17-5 ATS after a game committing no turnovers. South Carolina seemed to have one of the best defenses in the country but had huge problems late in the year giving up caved 87 points in their last two losses, while their offense wasn’t able to keep pace. South Carolina come in at 2-4 ATS as an underdog.

Take the Hawkeyes in this one.
