09-12-22 | Broncos v. Seahawks UNDER 44.5 | 16-17 | Win | 100 | 118 h 17 m | Show
It didn't take long, in fact week 1 for the Seahawks old QB in Russel Wilson to return home in his first game for his new team, the Denver Broncos. This could be one of the most anticipated games of the start of the season as Wilson returns to Seattle after 10 seasons as the Seahawks QB. Wilson has already elevated Denver to a Super Bowl contender while Seattle appears headed in the opposite direction. With Geno Smith now at QB, this team is in a serious rebuilding mode. Drew Lock is the other QB in Seattle and he spent a lot of time in Denver, most unproductive. The Broncos are already 13-5 in their last 18 vs the Seahawks and that looks to only improve this year. Don't expect many points out of this Seattle team as they look for an identity after the loss of Wilson. I'll take under and hope Denver doesn't run the score up too much. Play UNDER. |
09-11-22 | Bucs v. Cowboys UNDER 51 | 19-3 | Win | 100 | 94 h 24 m | Show
As we begin this new season there will be lots of eyes on QB Tom Brady. Not only is he 45 years old, but he had supposedly retired at the end of last season. He's also missed significant practice time during the preseason due to personal reasons. Will he be ready for the season? Tom is the oldest QB and has offensive line issues at left guard. He's not very mobile and maybe pressured a lot this year. Also gone is his old friend Gronk at TE. The Cowboys were 2-1 in the preseason, playing mainly without their starters. Gone from the Cowboys are WR Amari Cooker and Cedrick Wilson Jr. Michael Gallup will likely miss game one this week. Those three were 40% of the Dallas receiving yards last season. I look for rust to show here on Sunday night with Brady and the Cowboys will have to find a way to replace all that offense. I'll take the UNDER. |
09-11-22 | Raiders v. Chargers OVER 52 | Top | 19-24 | Loss | -110 | 90 h 30 m | Show |
The Las Vegas Raiders were a perfect 4-0 in the preseason under first year coach Josh McDaniels. The Raiders had the highest points differential in preseason at +41. Right away this Raiders team will be tried by the LA Chargers and Justin Herbert. We can think back to the last game of the regular season when the winner of the Raiders vs Chargers game went on to the playoffs. The game could have easily ended in an OT tie had the Chargers not called that controversial timeout, but instead it allowed the Raiders to setup the winning field goal. Besides McDaniels taking over in Vegas, is the highly anticipated debut of Davante Adams, arguably the best receiver in the NFL. Even though the Chargers are much improved on defense, I expect to see a lot of points in this game with these two offenses. I'm going to take the OVER. |
09-11-22 | Colts v. Texans OVER 45.5 | 20-20 | Loss | -110 | 87 h 4 m | Show
The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts begin the NFL season in a AFC South Clash here on Sunday. The Texans were a perfect 3-0 in the preseason while the Colts where 1-2. Colts HC Frank Reich begins his fifth season as Colts head coach and while his resume is pretty good, he's yet to win an opening day game. Not only are they 0-4 Straight up, but also 0-4 vs the number. We can take that even beyond Reich as they are 1-11 ATS their last 12 season openers. The Texans might have been 3-0 in preseason, but they have the lowest projected wins of any team this year. The Colts have a new QB in 14-year veteran Matt Ryan. I like the upgrade in QB for the Colts this year and expect that to produce more points here today. I'll take the OVER in this opening game. |
09-11-22 | 49ers v. Bears UNDER 40.5 | 10-19 | Win | 100 | 87 h 3 m | Show
The SF 49ers will start the QB they have wanted to since last season, Trey Lance. Lance takes over for Jimmy Garopplo who resigned with the Niners, but for a much smaller amount then he likely wanted. One has to wonder though how much faith the 49ers have in Lance as they wanted to sign Garoppolo again. Will Lance be able to take this team past the NFC Championship game they made last year? The Bears also go with a 2nd year QB in Justin Fields. Fields had a very good preseason but the question remains if the offensive line will be able to afford him the protection and time need to be efficient. Fields was the highest graded QB in the preseason with no turnovers and a 8.1 yards per attempt. Both these teams were good under plays last year and I don't see that changing. Neither has an explosive offense and in these early games I'll be looking at the under. Take UNDER here in game one. |
09-10-22 | Angels v. Astros UNDER 7 | 6-1 | Push | 0 | 9 h 19 m | Show
The Houston Astros have little challenge in the AL West with a 12-game lead over the Mariners. Still, they have to play the rest of the season and today they face the Angels and Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani is 11-8 on the season with a nifty 2.58 ERA. He's been slightly better at home with a 2.19 ERA. In fact, he's allowed one total run over his last two starts (15 innings). The Astros will counter with Jose Urquidy who is 13-5 with a 3.51 ERA. He's been better of late, going 5-2 with a 2.58 ERA over his last seven starts. I'm going to stick with the UNDER here in this one. |
09-10-22 | Kansas v. West Virginia OVER 59.5 | 55-42 | Win | 100 | 56 h 1 m | Show
Kansas opened their season with a home game last week against Tennessee Tech. They had little issues with Tech winning, 56-10. The offense was very balanced with 297 rushing yards and 205 passing yards. They will take on a West Virginia team that had a big test in week 1 vs Pitt. The Mountaineers lost the game, 31-38, but covered the 7.5-point line and moved the ball quite easily as they had 404 total yards. The defense did give up 308 yards to the Pitt passing attack. Both teams should score pretty much at will in this week 2 clash. I'm taking the OVER in this one. |
09-10-22 | Rays v. Yankees UNDER 8 | 3-10 | Loss | -115 | 3 h 10 m | Show
Huge series here as the Rays continue to put the pressure on the fading Yankees. The Yankees had a double-digit lead not very long ago and now the Rays have dwindled that down to just 3.5 games in the AL East. The Rays have won four straight, including beating the Yankees last night, 4-2. The Rays pitching has been great, allowing two runs or fewer in seven of their last nine games. The Rays will start Corey Kluber here today who is 10-7 and 4.00 ERA. Kluber is coming off an excellent start where he allowed two hits and no runs over seven innings to the Yankees. The Yankees will start Jameson Taillon who is 12-4 on the season. Taillon has a 3.95 ERA and has allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last three starts. Should be another excellent game here today, I'll take the UNDER. |
09-09-22 | White Sox v. A's UNDER 8 | 5-3 | Push | 0 | 11 h 59 m | Show
The Chicago White Sox are in a 3-team race for the AL Central. The Sox and Twins both trail first place Cleveland by 1.5 games. And really which ever team wins the other two won't be making the playoffs as both teams are 7-games back in the Wild Card race. So these games are important to the Sox. The Sox will start Lucas Giolito who is 10-9 with a 5.21 ERA. He's pitched pretty well of late, allowing two runs or fewer in two of his last three games. Oakland just playing out the season with send James Kaprielian to the hill. He's just 3-9 with a 4.79 ERA in his 22 startss. He's also pitched pretty well of late, allowing two runs in three of this last four starts. While neither pitcher is very good, they have been much better of late. I'll take the UNDER. |
09-09-22 | Rays v. Yankees UNDER 7 | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 53 m | Show
Tampa Bay making a huge late season charge at the 1st place Yankees, now just 4.5-games back. Just a few months ago that number was more like 15-games back. The Rays have won eight of 10 and three straight games. They also hold the top AL Wild Card slot right now with a 1-game lead over the Mariners. Drew Rasmussen will start today with a 9-4 record in his 23 starts and a 2.70 ERA. That number is even better during the last seven games with a 3-1 record and 1.85 ERA. The Yankees lost last night to the Twins, 3-4. That did snap a four-game win streak. Frankie Montas will toe the rubber for the Yankees with a 5-11 record and 3.72 ERA. His numbers go up the last seven starts with a 2-2 record and 5.55 ERA. |
09-08-22 | Bills v. Rams OVER 52 | 31-10 | Loss | -107 | 22 h 25 m | Show
The LA Rams begin defense of their 2021 NFL Championship here on Thursday against one of the best teams in the AFC, Buffalo Bills. The Bills still have that finish from last year in the playoffs against the Chiefs where both teams went back and forth in one of the best finishes in NFL history. Josh Allen drove the team down the field in 49 seconds for the go ahead score, only to have the Chiefs go for the tying score in just 13 seconds to force OT. The Chiefs won the toss in OT and scored the TD for the win without the Bills and Allen even getting to take the field. The Good news for the Rams is that Matthew Stafford will play after nagging injuries all preseason. Gone are WR's Robert Woods and Odell Beckham Jr. The Rams have the 2nd toughest schedule in the NFL and this is their first big test. The Bills are hungry to get that bad taste from their mouth in their playoff loss to the Chiefs. Should be plenty of points in this game with Stafford back at the helm. Play the OVER. |
09-06-22 | Diamondbacks v. Padres UNDER 7 | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 4 m | Show
The Arizona Diamondback would like nothing better than to put a crimp in the San Diego Padres Wild Card hopes. Right now the Padres and Phillies are tied for the 2nd and 3rd Wild Card spots with the Brewers the only other team with a real chance, sitting 2-games back. The Diamondbacks took game one from the Padres on Monday, 5-0. In fact, the D'backs have held four of their last five opponents to 1 run or no runs in a 4-1 streak. In addition, they are 9-2 over their last 11 games. Merrill Kelly has been a bright spot for the D'backs this year with a 12-5 record and 2.84 ERA. He is also great on the road with a 8-1 record in his 12 starts and a 2.74 ERA. The Padres hope to snap a 3-game losing streak here today. Juan Soto who they picked up at the trade deadline has been in a terrible slump of late. And with Fernando Tatis missing the rest of the season, Soto has to pick it up if the Padres hope to stave off the Brewers. Joe Musgrove starts for the Padres with a 9-6 record and 3.01 ERA. Musgrove hasn't been as good of late though, going only 1-3 in his last seven starts with a 4.05 ERA. Your free play for Tuesday is on the UNDER. |
09-04-22 | Mariners v. Guardians UNDER 7.5 | 6-3 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 46 m | Show
Two teams that are battling for playoff spots meet in the final game of their set as the Guardians host the Mariners. The Guardians have a modest 1-game lead in the AL Central over the Twins and 2-games over the White Sox. Not so good looking in the Wild Card though as the sit 4-games back of the Orioles right now in what is a 4-6 team race for three spots. The Mariners are 2nd in the Wild card race, just one percentage point behind 1st place Tampa Bay. They are 2-games ahead of Toronto and 3.5-games ahead of the Orioles. Seattle has also won six straight games, getting great pitching. The M's have allowed 1 run total in their last three games and no more than three runs in any of their last six and 10 of their last 11. The pen has a solid 3.31 ERA and 3.00 ERA over their last seven games. George Kirby starts today with a 6-3 record in his 19 starts and 3.16 ERA. That drops to 2.11 ERA over his last seven starts with a 4-0 record. The Guardians have lost four straight games, scoring a total of 1-run during that span. Cal Quantrill starts today with an 11-5 record and 3.50 ERA. He has allowed one or no runs in four of his last five starts. This looks to be a very low scoring game with two very good pitching staffs meeting. Take the UNDER. |
09-04-22 | Rangers v. Red Sox OVER 9.5 | 2-5 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 42 m | Show
The Texas Rangers are stuck in the middle of a 7-game losing streak after dropping the first three games of this series with the Red Sox. Moreover, they have allowed 23 runs to the Sox in the 3-games. Today, they turn to Dane Dunning to try and end the streak. Dunning, however, is just 3-7 in his 25 starts with a 4.18 ERA and a 0-5 record on the road with a 5.25 ERA. Meanwhile, the Red Sox have won four straight games and have gone over in four of their last five games. Josh WInckowski will start today with a 5-7 record and 5.83 ERA. That number is even worse at home where he is 3-4 with a 7.00 ERA. Neither starter likely around long in this game. I'll take the OVER. |
09-03-22 | A's v. Orioles UNDER 8.5 | 1-8 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 10 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles still fighting for a playoff Wild Card slot, sit in fourth place, just 1.5 games back of third place Toronto. The O's have won three straight and seven of their last 10 to keep pace with the pack. Adam Oller starts for the A's today with a 2-6 overall record and 5.66 ERA. The O's will counter with Austin Voth. Voth is 4-2 with a 4.48 ERA. He's pitched very well of late, allowing just three total runs over his last three starts (17 2/3 innings). I'm taking the UNDER in this one as both pitchers have been very good in recent starts. Play UNDER. |
09-02-22 | Yankees v. Rays UNDER 7.5 | 0-9 | Loss | -117 | 9 h 34 m | Show
The Yankees had a huge lead in the AL East, but that is now down to 6-games over the Rays. They have hit a bit of slump lately, losing four of their last five games, including last night at the Angels, 2-3. Thus begins a big series with the Rays tonight. Domingo German will start tonight with a 2-2 record in his eight starts and a 3.19 ERA. He's been very good of late, allowing one earned run over his last 14 innings with eight KO's and no Walks. The Rays have won three straight games and look to put a dent in that lead by the Yankees. Jeffrey Springs will start tonight with a 5-4 record in his 18 starts and a 3.08 ERA. Both these pitchers are very good and I will take the UNDER here tonight. |
09-02-22 | A's v. Orioles UNDER 8 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 30 m | Show
The Oakland A's look to snap a 2-game losing streak here tonight as they begin a series at Baltimore. The A's have got decent pitching and their bullpen has a 3.67 ERA over their last seven games. JP Sears will toe the rubber for the A's. Sears is 4-1 in his six starts with a 1.69 ERA. The O's offense has been pretty bad of late, but the pitching has been very good. They have two shutout wins in a row and the bullpen has a 1.69 ERA over their last seven games. The O's are in the hunt for one of the three wild card slots, just 1.5 games back of the pack. Dean Kremer will start tonight for the O's with a 6-4 record in his 15 starts and a 3.24 ERA. He's allowed just two runs over his last 13 innings. This one looks like a dead under to me tonight. 15-Star Total Annihilator. |
09-01-22 | Penn State v. Purdue UNDER 53.5 | Top | 35-31 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 51 m | Show |
Two Bowl teams from the 2021 season meet here tonight. And, both teams have very high aspirations for this season. Penn State started last year 5-0, but struggled down the stretch finishing at 7-6 overall. Purdue won more games last year then they had since 2003 with their 9-4 record. They beat Tennessee in the Music City Bowl, 48-45. Both teams lost some players to the NFL and it's not an easy site to play at Ross-Ade Stadium. I look for a close game, but in this one I'll be taking the UNDER. |
08-30-22 | Rays v. Marlins UNDER 6.5 | 7-2 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 59 m | Show
A little Florida State action here today as the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Marlins from Miami in a short two game stint. Tampa Bay currently holds the top AL Wild Card spot with a 1-game lead over the Mariners. Shane McClanahan will start today for the Rays with a 11-5 record and 2.20 ERA in his 24 starts. He's allowed just four total runs over his last three starts (19 innings). Miami just concluded a four-game set with the Dodgers, losing three of the four games. Jesus Juzardo will start today with a 3-5 record in his 11 starts and a 3.34 ERA. He's allowed two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts. Both pitchers are solid and I'm taking UNDER. |
08-30-22 | Orioles v. Guardians UNDER 8.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show
The Cleveland Guardians are in a fight in the AL Central with the Minnesota Twins for first place. The Guardians lead the Twins by just 1.5 games. The Twins are three games back of a AL Wild Card game with four teams ahead of them. The O's only hope is a Wild Card and right now they are two games back of that spot. The O's took two of their three games at Houston, losing the Monday matchup, 1-3. They are now 5-2 their last seven games. Spenser Watkins starts today with a 4-4 record and 3.78 ERA. He's allowed two runs or fewer in seven of his last nine games. Meanwhile, the Guardians have lost three of their last four games. They will send Cal Quantrill to the hill today. Quantrill is 10-5 in his 24 starts with a 3.59 ERA. He's allowed no runs in three of his last four starts. I'm taking UNDER here today. |
08-28-22 | Dodgers v. Marlins UNDER 7 | 8-1 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 7 m | Show
The Dodgers had their 3-game win streak snapped on Saturday by the Marlins and their Ace, Sandy Alcantara. Alcantara pitched a complete game, allowing just one run to the Dodgers and striking out nine, 2-1. The Dodgers were their own worst enemy, committing two very bad errors in the 6th that were ruled hits by the Santa Claus scoring the game. With two outs a slow comebacker to the mound went right under Mays glove for a runner. The next batter hit a slow roller to 2nd base that went under Taylor's glove. Next up, base hit for the eventual winning 2nd run. The Dodgers have been a very good fielding team, but three errors on Friday and those two miscues on Saturday leave a lot be be desired. The Dodgers will start Julio Urias this morning with a 13-7 record and 2.36 ERA. He's been great of late, going 6-1 in his last seven games with a 1.02 ERA. He's allowed just two total runs in his last four games. Edward Cabrera will start for the fish. Cabrera is 4-1 in his seven starts with a 1.41 ERA. He's been very good this far as has Urias. I'll take this game UNDER. |
08-26-22 | Seahawks v. Cowboys UNDER 37.5 | 26-27 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 49 m | Show
Finale preseason game for both these teams here tonight. Seattle is 0-2 in the preseason and the Cowboys are 1-1 after beating the Chargers last week. They did score just seven points in their opening week loss to the Broncos. It appeared the Cowboys were going to finally get Dak Prescott some action here tonight, but earlier in the week it was released that Dak would not play tonight. This game likely means more to Seattle since they will be seeing which QB will start the season. However, that being said, I still expect this to be a lower scoring game tonight. Play the UNDER. |
08-24-22 | Angels v. Rays UNDER 7 | 3-4 | Push | 0 | 8 h 27 m | Show
The Angels have dropped the first two games of this series with the Rays, scoring one run in each game. In fact, the offense has scored one run or no runs in four of their last five games. Mike Mayers will make his first start for the Halos, replacing Touki Toussaint who has been relegated to the pen. Mayers has worked out of the pen this year with a 1-0 record and 5.22 ERA. The Rays currently hold the top Wild Card spot in the A.L, a half game ahead of the Jays and Mariners with the Orioles 2.5-games back. Shane McClanahan will start today for the Rays. He's 11-5 in his 23 starts with a 2.29 ERA. I fully expect the Angels pathetic offense to once again be shut down here tonight. I'll go with the UNDER. |
08-23-22 | Reds v. Phillies UNDER 8 | 6-7 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 7 m | Show
The NL Wild Card race is really a two-team race now as Atlanta has at least locked-up the Wild Card with an 8-game lead. However, just 1.5-games separate the next three teams for those final two spots, including Philadelphia which is tied for 2nd right now with the Padres. The Phillies took game one of this four game set with the Reds on Monday, 4-1. That was only their 2nd win in their last six games. Ranger Suarez makes the start here tonight for the Phils with a 8-5 record in his 21 starts and a 3.31 ERA. However, he's been much better of late, going 2-1 in his last seven starts with a 1.71 ERA. The Reds simply playing out the remainder of the season as they won't be going anywhere this postseason. They start Nick Lodolo here this evening with a 3-4 record in his 11 starts and a 4.11 ERA. Lodolo coming off his best start of the season last time out vs this Phillies team. He allowed them five hits and no runs over seven innings in a 1-0 Reds win. I'll stick with the UNDER here tonight. |
08-21-22 | Cardinals v. Diamondbacks UNDER 7.5 | 6-4 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 49 m | Show
The Cardinals won their sixth straight game on Saturday with a win over the D'backs, 16-7. The Cards have taken over 1st place in the NL Central from Milwaukee, now leading the Brewers by 4-games. Jose Quintana will start today for the Red Birds. Quintana is 4-5 in his 23 starts with a 3.23 ERA. He's allowed two runs or fewer in five straight games. Arizona looks to salvage the rubber game of this series today. They will look to Merrill Kelly to do just that. Kelly is 10-5 in his 24 starts with a nifty 2.81 ERA. He's been even better of late going 3-0 in his last seven starts with a 1.53 ERA. Two hot pitchers looks like an UNDER for me here today. |
08-21-22 | Mariners v. A's UNDER 6.5 | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 47 m | Show
Seattle and Oakland have split the first two games of this series, with the Mariners taking game 1, 10-2, and the A's taking last night's game, 4-3. The Mariners made a big mid-season pickup of Luis Castillo to make a run for one of the Wild Card slots. Right now the M's are tied for 1st in the Wild card race with Toronto and 1-game ahead of Tampa Bay and 1.5 ahead of Minnesota. In fact, there are six teams that are within three games of each other for three WildCard slots. Louis Castillo has been very good since he came over to Seattle as he's allowed just five runs in his last three starts, all team wins. He's now 5-4 on the season with a 2.73 ERA. The Oakland A's just playing for pride at this point, JP Sears gets the start today, just his fifth of the season. Sears is 3-0 in four starts with a 0.86 ERA. He's looked very sharp for the A's, allowing no runs in three of his starts. I'll take the UNDER here today with two very good pitchers. |
08-20-22 | Giants v. Rockies OVER 11 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 44 m | Show
The San Francisco Giants look to snap a three-game losing streak here tonight against the Rockies. The Giants have seen their record drop below the .500 mark. The Giants have also dropped to fifth in the Wild Card race, now 4.5 games back of a spot. Alex Cobb will start for the Giants with a 4-6 record in his 19 starts and a 4.26 ERA. Cobb has been getting hit hard on the road where he is 1-0 in seven starts with a 6.19 ERA. The Rockies beat the Giants in game one last night, 7-4, snapping a five-game losing streak. Ryan Feltner will start today with a 2-4 record in his 10 starts and a 6.84 ERA. He's been worse at home, posting a 7.65 ERA. I expect for this game to go over with these two pitchers on the mound. Take OVER. |
08-19-22 | Astros v. Braves UNDER 8.5 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 59 m | Show
An Interleague clash of two powerhouses here as the team with the best record in the AL, Houston, clashes with the 2nd place NL East Atlanta Braves. Houston has won two straight games and six of their last eight. Lance McCullers Jr will get just his second start of the season here tonight. He had a nice first outing, going six innings vs the A's and allowing just two hits and no runs. The Atlanta Braves took three of four games from the NY Mets, including Thursday's contest, 3-2. They have won nine of their last 10 games. Kyle Wright will toe the rubber tonight with his 14-5 record in 22 starts and a 3.14 ERA. Both pitchers can take over this game tonight. I'll look for a low scoring affair and take the UNDER. |
08-19-22 | Edmonton Elks v. Ottawa OVER 48.5 | 30-12 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 40 m | Show
Two bad teams meet here tonight as the Edmonton Elks take on the Ottawa Redblacks. The Elks are the worst team in the CFL this year. However, the Redblacks are just 1-7 and laying points?? Both these teams have horrible defenses and that may come into play tonight for the total. While I don't like a side, I do think we'll see points as neither defense should be able to stop the other side. Lets take the OVER here tonight. |
08-18-22 | Diamondbacks v. Giants UNDER 7 | Top | 5-0 | Win | 100 | 6 h 32 m | Show |
Arizona took game three of this four game set with the Giants last night, 3-2. The Giants still lead the series two games to one. Tonight, the Diamondbacks will start Zac Gallen who is 8-2 in his 22 starts with a 3.02 ERA. Gallen has been even better of late, posting a 2.08 ERA and 4-0 record in his last seven starts. The pen has been solid also, especially of late with a 2.61 ERA over their last seven games. The Giants look to stay above the .500 mark tonight as they sit 59-58. The Giants need to make up room in the NL Wild Card and quickly. They are 5th right now for one of three wild card slots, 5-games back of the Padres for that third spot. Logan Webb has been excellent for the Giants, posting a 11-5 record in his 24 starts with a 3.00 ERA. He's coming off a eight-inning outing vs the Pirates where he allowed five hits and no runs. These are two very good pitchers and I look for a low scoring game here today. Play the UNDER. |
08-16-22 | Astros v. White Sox UNDER 7 | 3-4 | Push | 0 | 10 h 27 m | Show
Two of the best pitchers in the American League will butt heads here tonight in the Chicago as Justin Verland and Dylan Cease take to the hill. Houston lost the opening game of this four-game set on Monday , 2-4. That snapped a four-game win streak for the Astros. Verlander has been great again this year with a 15-3 record in his 21 starts and a 1.85 ERA. Meanwhile, the White Sox have won four straight games as they moved into 2nd place in the AL Central, two-games back of the Guardians. Their Ace, Dylan Cease has been impressive all season with a 12-5 record and 1.96 ERA in his 23 starts. Just how good has Cease been? Well, consider he's allowed one run or no runs in 12 straight starts. That is impressive. I'll take the UNDER here and won't be surprised by a 1-0 or 2-1 victory. |
08-15-22 | Orioles v. Blue Jays OVER 9 | 7-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blues Jays are fighting for two of the three A.L. Wild Card slots. The Jays hold first place in that race, 1/2-game ahead of Seattle, 1-game ahead of Tampa Bay and 1.5-games ahead of Baltimore with the Twins and White Sox just two-games back. That's six teams within two games of each other for the Wild Card slots. That makes this 3-game set very important to both teams. The Orioles lost two of their three games to the Rays, including both Saturday and Sunday. They will send Kyle Bradish to the hill today. Bradish is 1-4 in his 13 starts with a 6.42 ERA. The Blue Jays have lost four of their last five games six of their last seven. Yusei Kikuchi will start today for the Jays with a 4-6 record in 19 starts and a 5.13 ERA. Both teams need wins, but this one looks to be decided by the pens as neither starter all that good. I'll take the OVER today. |
08-14-22 | Phillies v. Mets UNDER 7 | 0-6 | Win | 105 | 3 h 14 m | Show
The first two games of this three game series have been split by these teams in what were very good pitching matchups. The Phillies won game one on Friday, 2-1 and dropped yesterday's contest 0-1. Zack Wheeler toes the rubber today for the Phillies. Wheeler has a 11-5 record in his 21 starts with a 2.63 ERA. He's been a bit better of late, going 5-1 in his last seven starts with a 2.17 ERA. The Mets have received outstanding pitching all season, including a bullpen that has a 3.61 overall ERA and 2.95 ERA their last seven games. Chris Bassitt will go today with a 9-7 record in his 21 starts and a 3.32 ERA. He's been slightly better at home with a 2.73 ERA and a 2.28 ERA his last seven overall games. He's also allowed no runs over his last two starts (15 innings) with 12 KO's and two walks. I'm sticking with the theme in this series and going UNDER. |
08-14-22 | Guardians v. Blue Jays UNDER 7 | 7-2 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 12 m | Show
The Cleveland Guardians have taken over 1st place in the AL Central with a 60-53 record. They lead the Minnesota Twins by 1.5-games. The Guardians saw their six-game win streak snapped on Saturday by the Blue Jays, 1-2. Shane Bieber will start today for the Guardians with a 7-6 record and 3.28 ERA. Beiber has allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last three starts. The Toronto Blue Jays won't win the AL East, but they are in the thick of it for one of three AL Wild Card slots. The Jays currently hold the top Wild Card spot, a half game ahead of Seattle, two games over Tampa Bay and three teams within four games. Kevin Gausman will start today for the Jays with a 8-8 record and 2.91 ERA. He's been slightly better of late with a 3-2 record in his last seven starts and a 2.33 ERA. Gausman has not allowed a run over his last two starts (14 innings) with 15 KO's and just one walk. Both pitchers are hot and these are two playoff caliber teams. I'll take the UNDER here today. |
08-13-22 | Dolphins v. Bucs UNDER 31.5 | 26-24 | Loss | -110 | 128 h 58 m | Show
These Florida teams meetup here in week 1 of the NFL preseason as the Bucs host the Dolphins. Some bad blood here in this matchup as the Dolphins were recently found to have had impermissible contact with Tampa QB Tom Brady. This might cost Miami a 2023 1st Round and 2024 4th round draft picks. We know that the Brady led Bucs will once again be a offensive force, but we won't likely see Brady between the lines tonight. One thing you need to look at in preseason are the coaches. You get some coaches who care about winning these games and others that could care less. Miami head coach Mike McDaniel has no track record in preseason. Same goes for Tampa coach Todd Bowles. So for me, this game with two you rookie head coaches. Both these coaches are in their first year at the top spot. I believe this will play good for the under as both will play backups primarily and concentrate more on players then on pushing the ball and winning. With these two rookie coaches I'm taking the UNDER here tonight. |
08-13-22 | Chiefs v. Bears OVER 37 | 14-19 | Loss | -110 | 48 h 12 m | Show
Matt Nagy returns to Chicago on Saturday, this time on the other sideline as the Chiefs QB Coach. Nagy was head coach for the Bears since 2018. The Chiefs have little to prove, having won the AFC West for six consecutive seasons. Andy Reid usually doesn't play starters in the preseason as he looks to keep them healthy. However, not the case for Bears new HC Matt Eberflus. Look for Eberflus to set the tone early that he's in Chicago to win games. Expect the Chiefs to play Chad Henne and Trevor Siemian a lot at QB with Shane Beuchele and Dustin Crum to also get some snaps. The Bears likely will play some starters here today, at least more than the Chiefs. This is one of those preseason games that I expect to see a lot of points. The Bears will be out to score here tonight and get a tone going early in the season. Play the OVER. |
08-12-22 | Phillies v. Mets UNDER 7 | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
The Philadelphia Phillies had their seven game win streak snapped yesterday by Miami, 0-3. The Phils have been very good, especially with their bullpen that has a 2.16 ERA over their last seven starts. Ranger Suarez gets the start today with a 8-5 record and 3.68 ERA. He's also been good of late, posting a 4-1 record in his last seven starts with a 2.63 ERA. The NY Mets look to extend their win streak to seven games today. They are coming off a 3-game sweep over Cincinnati, allowing the Reds a total of five runs in the three games. Max Scherzer has been excellent for the Mets and he will toe the rubber today. Scherzer is 8-2 in his 15 starts with a 1.98 ERA. That number drops to 1.77 at home and 1.37 over his last seven starts. This game has all the markings of a low scoring affair tonight. I'll take the UNDER. |
08-10-22 | Rays v. Brewers UNDER 7.5 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 2 h 11 m | Show
Tampa Bay looking for one of the Wild Card slots as they sit at 58-51 and are in third place in the Wild Card standings. They are just a 1/2 game back of 2nd place Seattle and 1.5 back of 1st place Toronto. The Rays will start Jeffrey Springs today. Springs is 3-3 in his 14 starts with a nice 2.87 ERA. Springs allowed no runs in his last start vs the Tigers, going six innings and striking out six and walking none. The Milwaukee Brewers held onto 1st place for most of the season, but now find themselves in 2nd place behind St Louis, just one game back. And the Brewers will have to compete with four teams in the NL Wild Card race if they can't take the division title. Brandon Woodruff has been a shining star for the Brewers this year. Woodruff is 9-3 with a 3.49 ERA. He's been even better at home with a 5-0 record in six starts and a 2.08 ERA. I look for this contest to be low scoring and will take the UNDER. |
08-09-22 | Rangers v. Astros UNDER 8 | 5-7 | Loss | -120 | 9 h 27 m | Show
Texas and Houston battle in their Lone State matchup here tonight as they begin a three-game set. The Rangers are coming off a loss on Sunday vs the White Sox, 2-8, as they split that four-game series with Chicago. Martin Perez is one of the best for the Rangers as he toes the rubber tonight. Perez is 9-2 in his 21 starts with a 2.47 ERA. Perez has been great on the road, posting a 5-0 record in 10 starts with a 2.26 ERA. Perez has allowed just one run in each of his last four starts. Houston looks to snap a two-game losing streak here on Tuesday. The bullpen has been hot too, posting a 1.15 ERA over their last seven games. Jose Urquidy starts for the Astros with a 10-4 record in his 20 starts and a 3.62 ERA. He's been very good of late with a 2.11 ERA in his last seven starts. I look for a low scoring match here tonight with these two pitchers on the hill. Play the UNDER. |
08-06-22 | Angels v. Mariners UNDER 7.5 | 7-1 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 1 m | Show
Game 2: The Angles and Mariners play game two of their Doubleheader here on Saturday. The Angels took game one on Friday, 4-3. That snapped a two game losing streak by the Halos. Reid Detmer starts game two for the Angels. Detmer is 3-3 in his 16 starts with a 3.62 ERA. He's allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last four starts. The Mariners proved they want to be serious contenders for a AL Wild Card when they acquired pitcher Luis Castillo before the trade deadline. Chris Flexen will start game two today. Flexen is 7-8 in his 20 starts with a 3.73 ERA. He's been better of late, going 5-0 in his last seven starts with a 2.79 ERA. He's also allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last five starts. Both pitchers have been good in recent starts and with that I'll be on the UNDER here today. |
08-04-22 | A's v. Angels UNDER 8.5 | 8-7 | Loss | -115 | 13 h 55 m | Show
Oakland stunned the Angels in game two of this set on Wednesday, winning as a +2.00 dog, 3-1. That snapped a 3-game losing streak by the A's. Today, they will send Paul Blackburn to the mound. Blackburn is 6-6 in his 20 starts with a 4.15 ERA. Surprisingly, he's much better on the road this year with a 5-1 record and 1.74 ERA in 12 away starts. The Angels will send Janson Junk to the hill, making just his second start of the season. Junk had a good first start, going five innings and allowing four hits and no runs to the Royals. He also had eight KO's and just one walk. I like both pitchers the way they have performed in their current situations. I'll take the UNDER. |
08-04-22 | Cubs v. Cardinals UNDER 7.5 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 5 h 46 m | Show
Game 1 of the Doubleheader has the Cubs taking on their rivals, St Louis. Their game on Wednesday was postponed as the Cubs change pitchers here in game one from Justin Steele to Marcus Stroman. Stroman is just 3-5 with a 3.99 ERA, however he's been exceptional of late. Stroman has allowed just two runs over his last four starts (20 2/3 innings). St Louis will stick with Wednesday's probable starter in Miles Mikolas. Mikolas is 8-8 in his 21 starts with a 2.86 ERA. He's been even better at home this season with a 4-2 mark in 10 starts and a 2.31 ERA. I look for this game one to go UNDER here Thursday. |
08-02-22 | Dodgers v. Giants UNDER 8 | Top | 9-5 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 46 m | Show |
The Dodgers finally won a game this year at Oracle Stadium in San Francisco. They were 0-3 before their win on Monday, 8-2. The Dodgers lead the Padres in the NL West by 12-games. The Giants fell below the .500 mark with their loss. One of the stars of the starting staff starts tonight for the Dodgers in Tyler Anderson. Anderson is 10-1 in his 17 starts with a 2.64 ERA. He's been slightly better of late with a 2.28 ERA his last seven starts. He has also allowed more than one run in just one of his last five starts. The Giants have now lost seven of their 10 games to the Dodgers this year. Onetime Dodger Alex Wood starts tonight for the Giants. Wood is 7-8 in his 20 starts with a 4.11 ERA. HE's been slightly better at home with a 3.78 ERA. Wood has not allowed more than two runs but one time in his last five starts. I look for this to be a low scoring game here tonight. Take the UNDER. |
08-02-22 | Diamondbacks v. Guardians UNDER 7.5 | 6-3 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 53 m | Show
Arizona looks to snap a 4-game losing streak here tonight as they play Cleveland. The Diamondbacks are coming off a loss to the Guardians last night, 5-6. The bullpen has been very good of late, posting a 1.73 ERA over their last seven games. Zac Gallen starts tonight with a 5-2 record in his 19 starts and a 3.32 ERA. Gallen has allowed just one run over his last two starts (12 innings). The Cleveland Guardians have won two straight and are hot on the heals of the Twins in the AL Central, just one-game back. Their bullpen has been equally impressive, posting a 0.95 ERA over the last seven games and a 3.43 overall ERA. Triston McKenzie starts for the Guardians with a 7-6 record in his 18 starts and a 3.16 ERA. He's been even better at home with a 3-1 record in six starts and a 2.89 ERA. I like this to be a low scoring game tonight. Take UNDER. |
07-31-22 | Cubs v. Giants UNDER 7.5 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 17 h 57 m | Show
The Giants took Saturday's game with the Cubs, 5-4, holding off a 9th inning rally by Chicago as they got 3-runs but came up one run short. The Cubs bullpen has been great of late, posting a 1.61 ERA over their previous seven games. The will be in support of today's starter, Adrian Sampson. Sampson is 0-1 in his six starts with a 3.74 ERA. Sampson has allowed three runs or fewer in four straight starts. The Giants can get back to the .500 mark with a win today. San Francisco's offense scored their most runs on Saturday then they had in any of their previous eight games. Carlos Rondon will get the start today with a 8-6 record in 20 starts. Rondon has a 3.18 ERA and 2.05 home ERA. The Cubs have gone under in five of their last six games while the Giants have gone under in five of their last seven games. I stated the Giants scored more runs on Saturday then their previous eight games. The Giants are 2-10-1 O/U in their last 13 games when scoring five runs or more in their previous game. I'm taking this one UNDER on Sunday evening. |

07-26-22 | Angels v. Royals OVER 8 | 6-0 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 24 m | Show
The Kansas City Royals took game one of their series with the Angels on Monday, 7-1. The Angels just can't seem to put back-to-back wins together. The last time the Angels won two in a row you have to go back to June 26 and 27 vs Seattle. The loss on Monday was the club's 6th in their last seven games and and 15th in their last 18 games. Jose Suarez will start today for the Angels as he's looking for his first win in 10 starts. Suarez is 0-4 with a 6.34 ERA and 1.644 WHIP. The Royals win on Monday was their third in a row. Angel Zerpa will make just his second start of the season here tonight. Zerpa is 1-0 and went five innings for the win vs the Blue Jays in his first start. Tampa Bay and Baltimore play game two of their series here tonight. The Orioles took game one on Monday, 5-1. Tampa has dropped to third in the AL East, 1/2-game back of the Blue Jays. Shane McClanahan has been the best Rays pitcher all season with a 10-3 record in his 18 starts and a 1.71 ERA. McClanahan has not allowed more than two runs in his lat 13 starts. In fact, you have to go back to the opening month of the for the last time and that was only three runs. After that long win streak of 10 games, the O's are 3-4 in their last seven games. Spenser Watkins will start today for the O's. Watkins is 3-1 in his 12 starts with a 3.93 ERA. Watkins has been hot, allowing one run or no runs in each of his last four starts. Two excellent pitchers here today, I'll take the UNDER. |
07-24-22 | Astros v. Mariners UNDER 7 | 8-5 | Loss | -105 | 3 h 27 m | Show
Houston Astros look to win their fifth in a row here today in Seattle. Seattle was one of the hottest teams in baseball until they met Houston. The Astros have taken the first two of this three game series. Framber Valdez will start Sunday's contest with a 8-4 record in his 18 starts anda 2.66 ERA. His road ERA has been very good at 1.86 in 11 starts. Seattle will try and salvage one game of this series with Robbie Ray on the hill. Ray is 8-6 in his 19 starts with a 3.54 ERA. His home ERA has been a very nice 2.25 ERA. Both pitchers are excellent and with that I'm just be on the UNDER here today. |

The Mariners now have Wild Card aspirations with this spurt that has moved them to 50-42 overall. Chris Flexen gets the start today with his 6-8 record in his 17 starts. Flexen has a 3.84 ERA but has been very good during this win streak, winning his last two starts while allowing just one earned run over 12 2/3 innings. The Rangers are in danger of getting the four game sweep by the Mariners today. They will Glenn Otto to the hill to try and get the win. Otto is 4-5 in his 12 starts with a 5.50 ERA. He's been much worse at home with a 2-4 record and 8.07 ERA. Your free play for Sunday is on the OVER. |

07-13-22 | Dodgers v. Cardinals UNDER 8 | 7-6 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 21 m | Show
The LA Dodgers are the only team in baseball averaging more than five runs per game. They had their seven game win streak snapped on Tuesday by St Louis, 6-7. That was only the team's second loss in their last 13 games. Tony Gonsolin has been amazing for LA this year with a 11-0 record and 1.62 ERA. He's also been solid on the road with a 4-0 record and 2.21 ERA. In addition, he has not allowed more than two runs in any of his 16 starts this year. The Dodgers are now 1-5-2 O/U in their last eight games. St Louis won their third game in a row with the win over LA on Tuesday. The Cardinals are six games over the .500 mark and are just 2.5-games back of the Brewers in the NL Central. Adam Wainwright gets the start today for the Cardinals. Wainwright is 6-7 in his 17 games this season and a 3.15 ERA. He's been better at home with a 3-3 mark and 2.21 ERA. |||||||
07-12-22 | Astros v. Angels UNDER 8.5 | 6-5 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 2 m | Show
Both these clubs got a rest day on Monday as they start this AL West series from LA on Tuesday. The Astros pretty much have this division locked up as they are 56-29 and 18-games ahead of the Angels. They are also 10-22 O/U in their last 32 road games vs a right handed starter. The Angels are 6-17-3 O/U in their last 26 games. Four of the last five in this series at LA have also gone under. I'll be on the UNDER here tonight. |
07-11-22 | Mets v. Braves UNDER 7 | 4-1 | Win | 105 | 8 h 28 m | Show
Great pitching matchup here today between the NY Mets and Atlanta Braves. The Braves have closed the gap in the NL East to just 1.5-games and could be in first place after this series. The Mets will look to avoid that and will send Max Scherzer to the hill today with a 5-1 record in his nine starts and a 2.26 ERA. Scherzer returned from the IL after missing all of June and pitched well on July 5, going six innings, allowing two hits and no runs to the Reds. The Atlanta Braves have won three straight in their sweep of the Nationals and six of their last seven games. Max Fried has been great on the mound. going 9-2 in his 17 starts with a 2.52 ERA. He's allowed more than two runs in a start just one time in the last eight outings. Should be a very good pitching matchup and I'll just take the under and enjoy it. Play UNDER. |
07-11-22 | Phillies v. Cardinals UNDER 7.5 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
The Philadelphia Phillies took two of their three games with St Louis over the week, but dropped Sunday's contest, 3-4. Still, they have won five of their last seven games. Aaron Nola will start today with a 5-6 record in 17 starts and a aa3.15 ERA. He's been better on the road with a 2-4 record in eight starts and a 2.13 ERA. St Louis has lost six of their last eight games and that halted their assault on first place in the NL Central. The Cards are just 2.5 games back of the Brewers in the division. Miles Mikolas will start today for the Red Birds. Mikolas is 5-7 in his 17 starts with a nice 2.72 ERA. He's also allowed two runs or fewer in five of his last six starts. I'll stick with the UNDER here tonight. |
07-10-22 | Pirates v. Brewers UNDER 8 | 8-6 | Loss | -120 | 4 h 24 m | Show
Pittsburgh snapped a 2-game losing streak on Saturday with their win over the Brewers, 4-3. The two teams have split their four game series thus far. The Pirates have now gone under in seven of their last eight road games. Jose Quintana will start today for the Pirates with a 2-4 record in his 16 starts and a 3.11 ERA. Quintana has pitched great of late, allowing two runs or fewer in his last three starts. The Brewers will turn to Eric Lauer here today, who is 6-3 in his 15 starts with a 3.82 ERA. He's been much better at home where he is 3-1 in six starts with a 2.13 ERA. The teams are 0-5-1 O/U in the last six games of their series. I'll stick with the under here today. |
07-10-22 | Marlins v. Mets UNDER 7 | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 4 h 54 m | Show
Miami and the NY Mets went to 10 innings with their game 3 of the series on Saturday, with the Mets winning, 5-4. The Mets lead the series 2 games to one. The Marlins will send their Ace to the hill on Sunday in Sandy Alacantara who is 9-3 on the season thru 17 games with a 1.82 ERA. Alcantara is coming off one of his best outings where he went eight innings vs the Angels, allowing just two hits and not runs. The Mets now have to contend with the Cardinals, who are hot on their heels in the NL East. The Mets will send Carlos Carrasco to the hill today. Carrasco is 9-4 in his 16 starts with a 4.53 ERA. He is also coming off an excellent start where he allowed just one run over 5 2/3 innings to the Rangers. I expect Alcantara to keep this score low today and with that I'll be on the UNDER. |
07-09-22 | Giants v. Padres UNDER 7 | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 30 m | Show
San Francisco has dropped the first two games of their series with the Padres, losing 1-2 and then on Friday, 3-6. The Giants are in danger of falling under the .500 mark for the first time all season with a loss here today. Carlos Rondon will try to keep that from happening when he starts for the Giants. Rondon is 7-5 in his 16 starts with a 2.87 ERA. Rondon has allowed two runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts. The Padres have won two straight games as they look to keep pace with 1st place LA Dodgers in the NL West. The Padres will start Yu Darvish today who is 7-4 in his 15 starts with a 3.53 ERA. Both these pitchers should be able to put together very good starts. I'll take the UNDER. |
07-08-22 | Giants v. Padres UNDER 7.5 | 3-6 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 6 m | Show
The Padres took game one of this four game set on Thursday, 2-1, scoring the winning run in extra innings. The defending NL West Champion Giants are pretty much out of the division race as they have dropped almost back to .500 at 41-40. They trail the Dodgers by 11.5 games. Sam Long will start today for the Padres. Long has been very good for the Padres, posting a 0-1 record in his five starts with a 0.90 ERA. In fact, Long has allowed one run total in his five starts and has yet to walk a batter. Long likely won't be around much past the third inning though as he acts more as an opener then anything. The Padres are in 2nd in the NL West, now 5.5-games back. Blake Snell will get the start today with a 0-5 record in his eight starts and a 5.13 ERA. Snell looks to get back to last year's form and his last start was more like his old self. Snell when five innings vs the Dodgers and allowed just one run with 12 KO's. If Snell can look like he did last game this will be low scoring. I'll take the UNDER. |
07-08-22 | Nationals v. Braves UNDER 9 | 2-12 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 50 m | Show
The Washington Nationals begin this 3-game set with the Braves on the heals of a 1-2 series with the Phillies. The Nats have now lost seven of their last eight games. The offense has been bad, scoring more than three runs just twice during that eight game run. Erick Fedde will get the start here today for the Nats with a 5-5 record over his 16 starts and a 4.29 ERA. He's pitched very well of late, allowing just four earned runs over his last three starts (17 innings). The Atlanta Braves have been making steady progress at catching the NY Mets in the NL East. They did lose on Thursday to St Louis, 2-3. Charlie Morton will start today with a 4-3 record and a 4.35 ERA. Morton has also pitched well of late, allowing two runs or fewer in his last four games. Both pitchers have been very good and with that I'll be taking the UNDER here tonight. |
07-06-22 | Rangers v. Orioles OVER 9.5 | 1-2 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 58 m | Show
The Texas Rangers look to snap a three-game losing streak and avoid the sweep at the hands of Baltimore here today. Each of the first two games the Rangers were ahead or tied in the 9th inning, only to lose. They dropped game one 6-7 and then last night in extra innings 9-10. Both game being high scoring. The Rangers will start Glenn Otto today who is 4-4 in his 10 starts with a 5.63 ERA. Otto has allowed 10 runs over his last six innings with six walks and just KO's. The Orioles bullpen has taken a pounding in recent games with a 7.50 ERA over their last seven games. That will put more pressure on starter Spenser Watkins. Watkins is 1-1 in his 10 starts with a 4.61 ERA. Both starters are fair at best and both pens are overworked. I'll take the OVER today. |
07-05-22 | Mariners v. Padres UNDER 7.5 | 6-2 | Loss | -120 | 5 h 22 m | Show
The Seattle Mariners look to win their fourth straight game here today in San Diego. The pitching has been very good of late, allowing seven total runs over their last four games. Their best pitcher is on the hill today in Logan Gilbert. Gilbert is 9-3 with a 2.76 ERA in his 16 starts. The Padres offense has really missed Fernando Tatis Jr, who continues to be out with a wrist injury. The offense has gone South without him. In the Dodgers series, the Padres scored more runs in the 9th inning of game four then they did in all the other innings of the series put together. And the problems continued on Monday as they could manage just two runs against the Mariners in their loss, 2-8. Mike Clevenger will get his seventh start of the season here today. Clevenger is 2-0 in his previous six starts with a nifty 2.33 ERA. Clevenger has allowed two total runs over his last four games (18 innings). Two very good pitchers and an anemic Padres hitting team will have me on the UNDER here today. |
07-03-22 | Orioles v. Twins UNDER 9 | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 3 h 14 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles look to snap a 4-game losing streak and sweep by the Twins here today in Minnesota. The O's are 35-44 in the AL East and their season is over in such a competitive conference. However, they will continue to give it their all. Tyler Wells is 6-4 for the O's with a nice 3.23 ERA. He's been a bright spot for this club, allowing just two runs over his last three starts (16 innings). In fact, if you toss out his opening day start where he allowed four runs, he has allow over three runs in any of the next 14 starts. The O's have been a good under team too, going 2-10 O/U in their last 12 games. The Twins continue to hold onto 1st in the AL Central, though Cleveland has closed to 3-games back. Devin Smeltzer will start for the Twins with a 4-1 record in nine starts and a 2.86 ERA. He's been even better at home with a 2-0 record in four starts and a 1.50 ERA. Five of the last seven in this series have gone under and that's what I expect here today. Play UNDER. |
07-02-22 | Red Sox v. Cubs OVER 9.5 | Top | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 38 m | Show |
The Boston Red Sox lost game one of this series with the Cubs on Friday night, 5-6. That dropped them to 43-34 on the season and 13-games back of the Yankees in the AL East. Josh Winckowski will start today for the Sox with a 3-1 record in his four starts and a 3.60 ERA. The Cubs will counter with Alec Mills who will make just his second start of the season. Mills only went 2 2/3 innings in his first start vs St Louis, allowing six hits and five runs. Boston has gone over in their last four Interleague games. The last four of five in this series have gone over and that's what I look for again today. Play the OVER. |
07-02-22 | Angels v. Astros UNDER 8.5 | 1-9 | Loss | -120 | 6 h 32 m | Show
If the Angels hoped to make up any ground with 1st place Houston before the All-Star break, well they got off to a bad start last night with a loss, 1-8. That loss dropped them five-games under .500 and no other team in the AL West has a winning record other than Houston. Patrick Sandoval will get the start for the Halos with a 3-2 record after 12 starts and a 2.63 ERA. Sandoval has been one of their most consistent starters, allowing two runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts. Sandoval has a tough road considering the Angels are just 10-25 their last 35 games. Meanwhile, Houston looks to put this division away before the All-Star break. The Astros are 17-6 in their last 23 vs the AL West. They are also 23-9 in their last 32 vs the Angels in Houston. Jose Urquidy will start today for the Astros. Urquidy is 6-3 in his last 14 starts with a 4.36 ERA. He's been much better at home with a 2-1 mark in five starts and a 2.51 ERA. I'll take the Astros to continue their dominance in the AL West. |
07-01-22 | Cardinals v. Phillies OVER 9.5 | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 37 m | Show
The St Louis Cardinals have closed the gap in the NL Central to just 1-game behind division leading Milwaukee. The Cardinals begin a tough stretch of games with three at Philly, four at Atlanta and then three at home vs Philly. Miles Mikolas starts today for the Cardinals with a 5-5 record in his 15 starts with a 2.57 ERA. Mikolas has allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last four starts. Philly has lost two of their last three games and six of their last 10 games. Bailey Falter makes only his fourth start of the season here tonight. Falter is 0-1 with a 4.26 ERA. The Cardinals do well vs lefties, now 21-7 in their last 28 vs the southpaws. Your free play for Friday is on the OVER. |
06-30-22 | Rays v. Blue Jays OVER 9 | 1-4 | Loss | -125 | 6 h 43 m | Show
Tampa Bay made a pitching change on Thursday as they now are going with an opener rather than a starter. Openers don't figure to go long and I don't see this one going much more than two innings. That opener is Matt Wisler who has been in three openers this year. He has a 3.17 ERA in those openers with one walk and four KO's. The Jays counter with Yusei Kikuchi who has struggled to a 2-4 record in 14 starts with a 5.08 ERA. He's been even worse of late, going 0-3 over his last seven starts with a 7.30 ERA. The Jays have been a good over team at home, going 14-2 O/U their last 16 on the home turf. With a poor pitcher on the hill and an opener for the Rays, I'll play this one over. |
06-29-22 | Astros v. Mets UNDER 8.5 | Top | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 39 m | Show |
The Astros and Mets play their second game here today from New York. The Astros took Tuesday game, 9-1. Today they get their Ace, Justin Verlander on the mound. Verlander is 9-3 in his 14 starts with a 2.22 ERA. His road ERA has been even better with a 2.04 ERA. Verlander coming off that fine performance over the Yankees where he went seven innings, allowed just four hits and one run. The Mets have lost two straight and four of their last six games. The Mets haven't done well in IL games of late, going 0-5 their last five vs a winning AL team. Taijun Walker will toe the rubber today for the Mets. Walker is 6-2 with a 3.03 ERA in his 12 starts. Two excellent pitchers here today. I look for a low scoring game. Play UNDER |
06-28-22 | Orioles v. Mariners UNDER 7.5 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 3 m | Show
Baltimore took game one of this series with the Mariners on Monday, 9-2. That makes five wins in their last six games for the O's. It was also their first over game in their last eight games. Dean Kremer will start today for the O's with a 2-1 record in his four starts and a 1.71 ERA and 0.84 road ERA. Kremer has not allowed a run over his last two starts (11 2/3 innings) and just one run over his last three starts (16 2/3 innings). Seattle looks to snap a two-game losing streak here today. They will send Robbie Ray to the hill with a 6-6 record in his last 15 starts and a 4.07 ERA. Ray has been very good though of late, allowing just two runs over his last three starts (20 innings). The M's have also gone under in 13 of their last 16 home games. I'll be on the UNDER here today. |
06-28-22 | A's v. Yankees UNDER 8 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 50 m | Show
Oakland A's lost the first game of their series with the Yankees on Monday, 5-9. This after leading the Yankees 5-0 in the early innings. The A's will send Frankie Montas to the hill today. Montas has just a 3-7 record but a decent 3.11 ERA. Montas is coming off a fine start vs the Mariners where he allowed no runs over eight innings with just two hits. The Yankees won for the 2nd straight game and their 14th win in their last 18 games. JP Sears will make his second start of the season tonight. His first start he got the win over Baltimore, going five innings and allowing just three hits and no runs. This has been a decent under series with a 4-9-1 O/U mark the last 14 meetings and a 2-5 O/U the last seven in New York. Play the UNDER. |
06-27-22 | Aces v. Sparks OVER 174.5 | 79-73 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 25 m | Show
The Las Vegas Aces lead the WNBA by just a half game over the Chicago Sky. The Aces have the best scoring offense in the league by quite a margin, averaging 91.2 ppg on the season. They also have the best point differential at +8 ppg. Still, the Aces look to rebound from a pair of loss to 2nd place Chicago, 95-104 and to the Washington Mystics, 86-87, both at home. It's the first time all season that the Aces have lost two games in a row. The LA Sparks are in 9th place in the WNBA with a 7-10 record, 2.5 games out of the last playoff spot held by Atlanta Dream. The Sparks allow 86.4 ppg while scoring just 81.7 ppg. This will be their third game against the Aces this season. Vegas won 89-72 and 104-76 in the prior two meetings of the season. I expect Vegas to get back to winning tonight and won't be surprised if they score well over 100 points. I'll take the OVER. |
06-27-22 | Orioles v. Mariners UNDER 7.5 | 9-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 11 m | Show
The Baltimore Orioles saw their four game win streak snapped on Sunday by the Chicago White Sox, 3-4. The O's took three of four games against the White Sox and almost came back last night in the 9th as they scored to make it close. The O's have now gone under in seven straight games. Tyler Wells will start today with a 5-4 record in his 14 starts and a 3.34 ERA. Wells has been very good of late, allowing 1 run over his last two starts (11 innings). The Mariners also had their win streak snapped on Sunday by the Angels, 1-2. That ended a five game win streak. George Kirby will start today with a 1-1 record in his nine starts and a 3.12 ERA. Kirby has also been very good of late, allowing two runs over his last two starts with 12 KO's and just two walks. Looks like a good pitcher matchup here today. I'll take the UNDER. |
06-26-22 | Sun v. Dream UNDER 163 | 72-61 | Win | 100 | 3 h 29 m | Show
The Connecticut Sun are in 3rd place in the WNBA with a 12-6 record, 1.5-games back of Las Vegas. The Sun also have the second best point differential with a +7.8 number. The Sun have the league's third best defense, allowing 78.1 ppg. The Atlanta Dream are 7th in the league with a 8-9 record. The Dream have a -0.8 point differential and average the second fewest points in the league this year at 78.1 ppg. The Sun will try to snap a two-game losing streak here today, scoring just 77 and 63 points in their last two games. Atlanta has dropped five of their last six games. Atlanta will have to rely on their top defensive ranking in the league if they hope to win today. The way this team plays defense it has you taking a look at them in almost every game. I look for a close game, but expect the Dream's defense to keep the score low. Play the UNDER. |
06-26-22 | Blue Jays v. Brewers OVER 9.5 | 3-10 | Win | 100 | 3 h 38 m | Show
The Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers wrap up their three game set here today with the teams having split the previous two games and both going over. The Blue Jays have now gone over in six straight games and 11 of the last 12 games. Jose Berrios will start today for the Jays with a 5-3 record in his 14 starts and a 5.11 ERA. He's been worse on the road where he is 2-3 in eight starts with a 6.70 ERA. Milwaukee has gone over in four straight games. Chi Chi Gonzalez will start today with a 0-1 record in his three starts and a 7.36 ERA. Neither pitcher very good and two above average hitting clubs. This is an over play for me today. |
06-25-22 | Mariners v. Angels UNDER 8 | 5-3 | Push | 0 | 12 h 45 m | Show
The Seattle Mariners look to extend their win streak to four games here tonight at LA. The M's took game one of this series on Friday night, 4-3. The Mariners best pitcher will be on the hill today in Logan Gilbert. Gilbert is 7-3 in his 14 starts with a 2.39 ERA. Gilbert has allowed three runs or fewer in 13 of his starts this season. The LA Angels have lost three of their four games. Patrick Sandoval will start for the Halos with a 3-2 record in his 11 starts and a 2.70 ERA. He's allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last three starts. Both pitchers are very good and this looks to be a low scoring contest tonight. Play the UNDER. |
06-25-22 | Astros v. Yankees UNDER 8 | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 43 m | Show
The two best AL teams continue their four game set today in New York. They have split the first two games with the Yankees winning on Thursday, 7-6 and the Astros on Friday, 3-1. Cristian Javier will start for the Astros today with a 4-3 record in his nine starts and a 3.86 ERA. He's been good over his last six starts, allowing two runs or fewer in five of those outings. The Yankees hold a comfortable lead in the AL East with a 52-19 record and 11.5-game lead over the Blue Jays. Gerrit Cole gets the start today for the Yankees. Cole is 6-1 in his 14 starts with a 3.14 ERA. Cole has allowed one run or no runs in three of his last four starts. Looks to be a very good pitcher's duel today. I'll take the UNDER. |
06-24-22 | Lightning v. Avalanche OVER 6 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 20 m | Show
The Colorado Avalanche look to put this Stanley Cup away at home tonight in game five. They are up 3-1 after winning at Tampa in game four, 3-2 in OT. If you watched the OT, Colorado dominated. They had fresh legs and it showed. Colorado had eight days off before the Stanley Cup finals compared to just three by Tampa Bay. This Colorado team is too fast and strong for St Louis, especially on fresh legs. If it wasn't for the Tampa Bay goalie, the Rockies could have blown game four open. He has stopped 12 of 13 Colorado break aways in the series and made amazing saves in game four. Only two players on this Colorado team have been on a Stanley Cup champion. All that being said, I believe Colorado wins it tonight and they score big again. I won't lay the big price with the Avs but I will take the OVER. |
06-24-22 | Mets v. Marlins UNDER 7 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 45 m | Show
All of a sudden the NY Mets have to look over their shoulder because here comes Atlanta. The Braves have shaved the lead in the NL East to 4-games. It doesn't help their cause that the Mets have lost two straight games. Now they open a three-game series at Miami. The Mets will start Taijuan Walker today. Walker is 5-2 in his 11 starts with a 2.88 ET. Walker has been very good in his last two starts, allowing two total runs over 12 2/3 innings with 19 KO's and just two walks. Meanwhile Miami has won three straight games and will send their best pitcher to the hill in Sandy Alcantara. Alcantara is 7-2 in his 14 starts with a 1.72 ERA and an even better 1.36 home ERA. How consistent has he been? How about allowing two runs or fewer in 13 of his 14 starts this season. This looks like a dead under play to me today. |
06-23-22 | Astros v. Yankees UNDER 8 | 6-7 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 59 m | Show
A possible preview of the AL Championship series here tonight as the 1st place AL West Houston Astros take on the 1st place AL East Ny Yankees. This is a four game series and both teams have been hot. The Astros have won three straight games and six of their last seven. Framber Valdez starts tonight for the Astros with a 7-3 record and 2.78 ERA. HE's been great on the road with a 4-1 record in his seven away starts and a 1.61 ERA. Valdez has just one start this year where he allowed more than three runs in a game and that was way back on April 19th. The Yankees have won 11 of their last 13 games. Jameson Taillon will start tonight. Taillon is 8-1 in his 13 starts with a 2.70 ERA. Taillon is coming off a start where he allowed no runs over 5 2/3 inning to Toronto. Both starters are very good and I will take a shot on the UNDER with these pitchers tonight. |
06-22-22 | Avalanche v. Lightning UNDER 6 | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Game four of the NHL Finals saw the Tampa Bay Lightning get a win on the board in game three in Tampa. The Lightning lost game one in OT, 3-4 and then got blown out in game two, 0-7 before winning in big fashion in game three, 2-6. All three games have gone over and that's no shock considering the speed and offensive prowess of these Colorado Avalanche. Even though the Avs scored just two goals last game, they had at least four games in nine of their previous 10 games. To show how Colorado has dictated the pace in the finals, the Lighting were a good under play through the early rounds of the playoffs. But since they have faced Colorado all three games are over. Will Colorado rebound tonight? One thing they have going for them is that Tampa Bay Right Wing Nikita Kucherov is nursing an injury, though he is probable tonight. I look for Colorado to get back to their scoring ways tonight, which means that Tampa will have to keep pace. I like the OVER in game four. |
06-22-22 | Dodgers v. Reds UNDER 9 | 8-4 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
The LA Dodgers have fallen two games back of the Padres in the NL West, thanks to a recent stretch that has seen the team go 4-5 over their last nine games. One of the Dodgers undefeated starters go today in Tyler Anderson who is 7-0 on the season. Anderson has been a shining star in the Dodgers starting rotation. He has a 2.90 overall ERA and 1.000 WHIP. He has allowed two runs or fewer in five of his last six starts and the team has won all six of his last starts. The Reds had that horrendous start to the season and now are in another losing streak, five games now. Luis Castillo will try and get the team a "W" today with a 2-4 overall record in his eight starts. Castillo has a 3.33 ERA but slightly higher 4.50 ERA at home. Castillo has very consistent, allowing three runs or f fewer in every start this year. I like these pitchers to keep the score low tonight. Play the UNDER. |
06-21-22 | Diamondbacks v. Padres UNDER 7 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 9 m | Show
Arizona and San Diego play the second of their three game set here tonight in Southern Cal. The D'backs lost the first game on Monday, 1-4. They will look to Zac Gallen today to get them back on track. Gallen has been very good for the D'backs, going 4-2 in his 12 starts with a 2.91 ERA. He's coming off a seven inning performance vs the Reds where he allowed just two hits and two runs over seven innings. The Padres are in 1st in the NL West, two games ahead of the Dodgers. This despite losing three of their last four games. Sean Manaea will start today with a 3-3 record and 3.95 ERA. Manaea had back-to-back starts that were excellent, allowing just two total runs over 13 innings. Then he hit a snag last time out, allowing five runs over four innings. I look for Manaea to rebound here today as this game goes under. |
06-21-22 | Royals v. Angels UNDER 9 | 12-11 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 15 m | Show
Kansas City won their fourth win over their last five games with the victory over the Angels on Sunday, 6-2. It was their sixth straight game that has gone under the total. Jon Heasley will start today for the Royals with a 1-3 record and a 3.72 ERA. He's been very consistent, allowing three runs or fewer in all seven of his starts this year. The Angels had their three game win streak snapped yesterday by the Royals. They have also been a good under team with four straight games going under and eight of their last nine going under. Reid Detmers will start today for the Angels with a 2-3 record in his 11 starts and a 4.25 ERA. He's been better at home with a 2-2 record in six home starts with a 2.70 ERA. Detrmers had gone 8 2/3 innings with no runs allowed before his last start where he gave up four runs over 3 2/3 innings vs the Dodgers. Both these teams have been such good under plays and now they face each other. I'll take the UNDER. |
06-20-22 | Diamondbacks v. Padres UNDER 7 | 1-4 | Win | 105 | 7 h 15 m | Show
The Arizona Diamondbacks performing much better then many people expected. The D'backs are 32-36 after beating Minnesota on Sunday, 7-1. The have won three of their last four games to inch within that .500 mark. Zach Davies will start today for the D'backs with a 2-3 record and 3.78 ERA. He's pitched very well in recent starts, allowing just three total runs over his last three starts (20 2/3 innings). That includes 20 KO's against just three walks. The San Diego Padres lead the NL West, 1.5-games over the LA Dodgers with the Giants aren't far back. The Padres maintained their hold on the top spots despite being swept in Colorado in three-straight games. Yu Darvish will toe the rubber the today for the Padres. Darvish is 6-3 in his 12 starts with a 3.34 ERA. He's been very good at home, posting a 3-1 record in his five starts with a 1.35 ERA. Darvish has allowed more than two runs in just one of his last five starts. This game looks to be low scoring and I'll be on the UNDER here late tonight. |
06-20-22 | Yankees v. Rays UNDER 6.5 | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 9 m | Show
The NY Yankees finally had their winning streak snapped at nine games in the last 10 and 16 of the last 17 with a loss to Toronto on Sunday, 9-10. Now the Yankees head to Tampa Bay to face the Rays. Gerrit Cole gets the start today for the Yankees with a 6-1 record in his 13 starts. Cole has a 3.33 ERA and is coming off a five hit, no run outing vs the Rays on June 14th where he got the win, 2-0. Cole has not been consistent though, he's had two of his last three games where he allowed no runs but in between he gave up seven runs to the Twins. Tampa Bay lost two of their three games at Baltimore over the weekend. They are now 1-5 in their last six games and 2-7 in their last nine games. Shane McClanahan has been their best starter with a 7-3 record in his 13 starts and a 1.84 ERA. He has allowed two runs or fewer in eight straight starts. He also has excellent control with just eight walks over his last eight starts. This is one pitcher who should be able to keep the big hitting Yankees in check. If Cole pitches like he has in two of his last three outings, this will be a low scoring game. Take the UNDER. |
06-18-22 | Guardians v. Dodgers UNDER 8.5 | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 10 h 6 m | Show
The Guardians and Dodgers continue their series here from Chavez Ravine after the Indians took game one last night, 2-1 as a +230 underdog. Cleveland has slowly been gaining ground on first place Minnesota, now just one game back in the loss column and 3.5-games overall. Cal Quantrill will make the start today for the Guardians. Quantrill is 4-3 in his 11 starts with a 3.38 ERA. He has been very consistent, allowing three runs or fewer in 10 of his 11 starts this season. The Dodgers will counter with Julio Urias, who is 3-6 in his 12 starts this season and a 2.80 ERA. Urias has allowed three total runs over his last two starts (11 1/3 innings) with 14 KO's and three walks. I look for another low scoring game here tonight. Play UNDER. |
06-18-22 | White Sox v. Astros UNDER 8 | 7-0 | Win | 105 | 7 h 1 m | Show
The Chicago White Sox have pulled to withing one game of the .500 mark at 30-31. They still trail 1st place Minnesota by 5-games, but have been closing the gap. The Sox had their three game win streak snapped yesterday with a loss at Houston, 3-13. Johnny Cueto will toe the rubber today for the White Sox. Cueto is 0-3 in his five starts, but has a nice 3.23 ERA. He's been even better on the road with a 0-1 mark in three starts and a 1.50 ERA. The Houston Astros are pulling away in the AL West with a 40-24 record after their Friday win. They lead 2nd place LA Angels by 10-games now. The Astros will have their ACE on the hill today in Justin Verlander. Verlander is 8-2 in his 12 starts with a 1.94 overall ERA and 1.65 home ERA. If you throw out that one start where he allowed six runs, then he has allowed four total runs in six of the last seven games. I expect Verlander to keep this score very low here on Saturday. Play the UNDER. |
06-18-22 | Yankees v. Blue Jays UNDER 8.5 | Top | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 4 h 13 m | Show |
Reason: The Yankees assault on the AL East continues as they have now won eight straight games, including a sweep over AL contender Tampa Bay and an open win over Toronto on Friday, 12-3. Jameson Taillon will start today for the Yankees. Taillon is 7-1 in his 12 starts with a very solid 2.93 ERA. In his 12 starts, Taillon has allowed over three runs just one time and that was a four run outing. Toronto has lost two straight after their loss on Friday night. The Jays are now 11-games back of the Yankees in the AL East. Alek Manoah will start today for the Jays with a 8-1 record in his 12 starts and a 1.67 ERA. Manoah right now looks to be a key contender for a AL Cy Young the way he's pitching. He's allowed no runs over his last two starts (12 innings) and more than two runs just one time all season (3 runs on June 2). This looks to be a great pitching matchup today and I'll be on the UNDER in what looks to be low scoring. |
06-17-22 | Yankees v. Blue Jays UNDER 9.5 | Top | 12-3 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
The NY Yankees continue to roll through the NL East, winning seven games in a row after sweeping the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees took the three-game set from the Rays allowing just four total runs in the process. Jordan Montgomery will get the start today for the Yankees. Montgomery is 2-1 in his 12 starts with a 2.70 ERA and 0.975 WHIP. He's been very consistent, allowing two runs or fewer in 10 of his 12 starts and just three runs in the other two starts. The Blue Jays are 37-26 overall, but still trail the Yankees by 10-games in the AL East. Ross Stripling will get the start today. Stripling is 2-1 in his seven starts with a 2.81 ERA. He's also been very good, allowing no runs over his last two starts with just two total hits (11 innings). Both these pitchers should keep this game very low scoring and as such, I'll be on the UNDER today. |

06-16-22 | Warriors v. Celtics UNDER 210.5 | Top | 103-90 | Win | 100 | 57 h 29 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics went into Game 5 saying that they weren't going to let Steph Curry beat them like he had in previous games. They did just that, keeping Curry under check and keeping Curry from hitting a 3-point shot for the first time in is playoff career. However, Wiggins went off on the Celtics and so did Thompson as other stepped in to lead Golden State to the win and cover in game 5. Tonight, the venue moves back to Boston as the Warriors can win the NBA Championship on the road here tonight. I have hit my last four NBA playoff selections including my last two NBA Totals. Tonight, I see another physical, low scoring game. I won't get involved with the line here tonight. Rather I'll be on the UNDER. |

06-15-22 | Angels v. Dodgers UNDER 9 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 12 h 53 m | Show
The Freeway series begins game one tonight as the LA Dodgers host the LA Angels from Chavez Ravine. Both teams struggling, especially the Angels who have lost two straight and 17 of their last 19 games. The losing streak cost HC Joe Madden his job after 12 straight losses. The Angels will send Reid Detmers to the mount tonight. Detmers is 2-2 in his 10 starts with a 3.83 ERA. Detmers has been very good of late, allowing no runs over his last 8 2/3 Innings. The Dodgers fell out of first place by virtue of a 3-6 stretch their last nine games. One of their better pitchers will take the mound tonight in Tyler Anderson. Anderson is 6-0 in his nine starts with a 3.20 ERA. Anderson has been a bright spot for a Dodgers rotation that has been struggling with injuries this year. I'm going to take the UNDER here tonight in game one of the Freeway series. |

06-15-22 | Reds v. Diamondbacks UNDER 8.5 | 4-7 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 23 m | Show
The Cincinnati Reds look to extend their modest win streak to four games here tonight by sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Reds have taken the first two games of this series 5-4 and then last night 5-3. Luis Castillo will take to the hill for the Reds with a 2-4 record in his seven starts and a 3.23 ERA. Castillo has been very consistent for the Reds, allowing three runs or fewer in six of his seven starts. Arizona has lost two straight and eight of their last 11 games. Zac Gallen has been very good this year with a 4-2 record in his 11 starts and a 2.95 ERA. He's been better at home with a 2-0 record in his six starts and a 2.57 ERA. Both pitchers are very good and I expect a low scoring game here this evening. Play UNDER. |

06-13-22 | Celtics v. Warriors UNDER 211.5 | 94-104 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show
Game 5 of the NBA Finals tonight as they move venues back to Northern Cal. The teams have traded punches thus far with Boston winning games one and three, both S/U and ATS. The two games that the Warriors won, game two and four, both also went under the total. The Warriors defense is what has gotten them wins and with that defense has come the under in the game too. Tonight, the winner will be down to winning one of the final two games. That makes this a pivotal contest for both teams, since neither team has won two-in a row yet. I look for this game to be very physical and low scoring. For me, I'll be on the UNDER. |

06-12-22 | Marlins v. Astros UNDER 7.5 | 4-9 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 4 m | Show
The Miami Marlins have quietly built a five-game winning streak as they look to take the sweep on the road here today at Houston. They beat the Astros in game one, 7-4 and then again yesterday in game two, 5-1. Edward Cabrera will look to win again today after going 2-0 in his first two starts. Cabrera has a 0.75 ERA and 0.750 WHIP and has allowed just one earned run over his 12 innings of work. Cabrera and the Marlins will have their work cut out for them today against former Cy Young winner Justin Verlander. Verlander is 7-2 on the season with a 2.13 ERA and. 0.84 WHIP. Verlander had that one bad start on May 27th, allowing six runs and 10 hits over 6 innings to the Mariners. Other than that he has not allowed more than three runs in any of his other 10 starts. I look for this to be a low scoring game today and with that I'll be on the UNDER. |

06-12-22 | Orioles v. Royals OVER 9.5 | 10-7 | Win | 100 | 3 h 17 m | Show
Baltimore and Kansas City wrap up their four-game set here today with the Royals having won the first two games and the Orioles the game on Saturday, 6-4. Two of the three games of the series have gone over with the third just missing by one run. Dean Kremer will make his second start of the season here today for the O's. Kremer allowed five hits and three runs over 4 1/3 innings in his first game against Cleveland. The Royals will start Brad Keller here today. Keller is 1-7 in his 11 starts with a 4.18 ERA. Keller hasn't been very good, allowing three runs or more in each of his last six starts. I like this game to go OVER here today. |

06-10-22 | Warriors v. Celtics UNDER 214.5 | Top | 107-97 | Win | 100 | 18 h 21 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics jumped out to a big lead in game three of the NBA Finals, only to have Golden State rally in the third and take a lead entering the fourth quarter. However, like game one, the Warriors collapsed in the fourth quarter and Boston won going away to also cover the spread, 116-100. Thus far none of the three games have been close, with Boston winning game one by 12, Golden State game two by 19 and the Celtics game three by 16. Today, I'm looking at the under. Just one of the first three games have gone under and that was game two in Golden State, 88-107. First, Stephen Curry hurt his foot in game two and while he's probable today, have to wonder if that will effect his performance here today. 2nd, I'm looking for a much more physical game here in game four. That will mean fewer scoring opportunities. So far it's been over, under and then over. If the bounce comes right, we are looking at another under here in game four. Play the UNDER. |

06-10-22 | Marlins v. Astros UNDER 8 | 7-4 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 31 m | Show
Miami won last night in the final game of their set with Washington, 7-4. That meant the Marlins swept Washington in their three game set. Pablo Lopez will start today for the fish with a 4-2 record in his 11 starts. Lopez has a very nice 2.32 ERA and 0.970 WHIP. Lopez has been even better on the road with a 2-1 record in his five starts with a 1.41 ERA. The Astros had Thursday off as they begin 3-game set with Miami. Luis Garcia will toe the rubber today for the Astros. Garcia is 3-4 in his 10 starts with a 3.07 ERA. Garcia has pitched well of late, allowing two runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts. Both pitchers appear to be in a groove right now and for me, I'll be on the UNDER today. Play UNDER. |
06-09-22 | Cardinals v. Rays UNDER 7 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 1 h 12 m | Show
The St Louis Cardinals look to salvage one game of this three-game set with the Rays. They have lost the first two games, 2-4 on Tuesday and then 3-11 last night. Miles Mikolas will get the start for St Louis with a 4-3 record in his 11 starts and a 3.01 ERA. He's been slightly better on the road with a 3-1 record and 2.54 ERA. Tampa Bay trying to keep pace with the Yankees in the AL East. They trail the Yankees by 7-games. Shane McClanahan will get the start today with a 6-2 record in his 11 starts and a 2.10 ERA. He's allowed two runs or fewer in his last six starts. Both pitchers are very good as I expect to see a lower scoring game here today. Play UNDER. |
06-08-22 | Warriors v. Celtics UNDER 212.5 | Top | 100-116 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 42 m | Show |
Game three of the NBA Finals moves to Boston for tonight's contest. The Warriors returned their game one blowout loss with their own blowout in game two to even the series at 1-1. The Celtics were close in game two but came out the break and shot very badly in the third quarter which led to their demise. The Celtics also missed a lot of wide open shots in game two, something they need to fix tonight if they want to win. Tonight, I'm looking at the UNDER. The Warriors have gone under in 11 of their last 13 vs a team with a winning straight up record. They are also 1-4 O/U in their last five games when the dog. The UNDER has also been quite dominant in this series, with seven of the last 10 meetings in Boston going under and 20 of the last 28 overall meetings going under. I'll take the under here today in game three. |
06-07-22 | Tigers v. Pirates UNDER 7 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 10 m | Show
The Detroit Tigers look to snap a 3-game losing streak as they visit the NL's Pittsburgh Pirates today. The Tigers aren't often a road favorite, but they are today. That is mainly because their winningest pitcher is on the mound in Tarik Skubal. Skubal is 4-2 on the season with a very good 1.84 ERA. Skubak has allowed no runs in four of his last five starts. The Pirates have been doing well of late, winning five of their last six games including a 3-game sweep of the LA Dodgers. Jose Quintana will get the start for the Bucs today. Quintana is 1-2 in his 10 starts with a 2.32 ERA. Both these pitchers are very good and as such, I'll take the UNDER today. |
